Nothing Else Matters welcomes its newest signing in the form of UK based DJ and producer, Ango Tamarin, for the release of his brand new 'Freaks Pon Di Floor' EP. One of 2021's most exciting new prospects, Ango Tamarin, is no newcomer to the Dance scene, with years of studio work and prolific releases under his belt, he has more than enough skills to back up the hype. With debut releases already out on Truesoul and Edible, Ango Tamarin is taking full advantage of his new creative freedom under this new alias with 'Freaks Pon Di Floor' and 'Where's Eric', two killer records that were made with the dancefloor in mind. Expect big things from this guy in 2021 and beyond!

Leading the release, title track ‘Alley Rave’ brings together pumping basslines, rolling percussion, and energetic vocal samples for a hair-raising start to the EP. ‘Out and About’ follows, with loose and swinging drums meeting rumbling low end and analogue synths. ‘Locomotive’ brings tense build-ups and earth-shattering drops along with an earworm lead, closing out the EP in a memorable fashion.

Landing back on the firm during our 20th Birthday celebrations is none other than Danny Howard, who returns to the label with a beefed up edit of a Toolroom classic – ‘Hear What They Hear’ by Adrian Hour. A secret weapon for DJs worldwide, released back in 2016 on Adrian Hour’s ‘Like This’ EP, this B Side became an unlikely hero that still gets hammered today by the likes of John Summit and Eats Everything. As any fan of Toolroom would know, Adrian Hour is a legendary part of the firm who embodies the true underground spirit that the label prides itself on.

Danny Howard himself is a DJ and producer who needs no introduction, radio personality for BBC Radio 1’s Dance Party, label head of Nothing Else Matters and Ibiza resident, Danny Howard has gone from strength to strength throughout his career.
