We're bringing another label debut to Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters imprint this summer in the form of London based DJ duo, My Friend who team up with budding newcomer and rising star, Tommy Farrow, to deliver the 'Forget Nothing' EP. Hurtling onto the scene back in 2018 when label boss, Danny Howard crowned them his 'Future Fire', My Friend have gone on to produce on various projects together, played around the world and released on some of the most respected labels in the industry. Tommy Farrow on the other hand, has catapulted through the Dance ranks following on from the overwhelming success of his debut EP on Stress Records which became a staple across many AAA DJ's sets and received high praise from Radio heavyweights Danny, MistaJam, Jaguar, Annie Mac and Pete Tong who all supported the record. The 'Forget Nothing' EP, draws on each artist's unique style and sound, blurring the lines of House, Techno and Progressive and drawing on modernised 90's and 00's euphoric Trance influences. Showcasing uplifting melodies, driving depths, powerful synth patterns, crisp percussion, commanding basslines and hypnotic vocal cuts, the 'Forget Nothing' EP offers two stellar productions that are perfect both for the streaming market and the dancefloor alike. Hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, Leandro Murua first appeared on the label's influential We Are The Future compilation in 2020. Since then, he has become one of 3rd Avenue's most consistent artists, with numerous releases across both the main imprint and its Future Avenue sublabel. His growing reputation has also led to appearances on respected platforms like Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Juicebox Music, and YOMO Records.

For this special package, the label has assembled an impressive trio of remix talent: Estonian producer Thomas Ferrell brings his melodic sensibility, Belarusian artist Hully Che contributes his distinctive groove, and Czech Republic's Streichl completes the international lineup with his unique production approach.

One of Belfast's finest musical exports, DJ and producer Garry McCartney has become a prominent figure in the melodic techno world. 

Releases on Sasha's Last Night on Earth, Shall Not Fade, Tusk Wax, Aus and BPitch Control has made him a mainstay of the U.K. house and techno scene, with a recent BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record nod for 'Ekstac' from Annie Mac. 

While Ejeca soared on the underground scene, it was another passion project that drew Garry’s attention in the studio; Trance Wax. 

Growing up in an era where trance and progressive artists Sasha, Chicane and Paul Oakenfold were household pop music names, Garry was inspired to recut nostalgic rave hits to fit the eclectic environment of modern dance floors. 

The vinyl-only pressings worked their way into the record boxes of The Black Madonna, Bicep, Job Jobse and Denis Sulta, found radio support from the likes of B Traits and Danny Howard, and earned him a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2018 - providing end of the night moments for a generation of artists who fondly remember dance music’s golden era. 

His first digital remixes arrived in 2019, reworking Above & Beyond pres. OceanLab's 'Clear Blue Water' and 'Satellite', supporting the Anjunabeats head honchos at two sold out London Printwork shows.

Taking Trance Wax to the next level, we're proud to present his debut original release, the 'Manaya EP'.

Showing three sides to the Trance Wax sound, the EP draws heavily on turn of the millenia dance music culture. There’s a headsy The Future Sound Of London trip with ‘Northern Sky’, already a Friday fire record on Danny Howard’s BBC Radio 1 show. 

‘Alone Again’ takes things a step deeper; a vocal track that has been multiple years in the making from Garry. Providing a feel good hit of euphoria, ‘Manaya’ is a throwback to the classic uplifting trance sound.
