Vilnius-based record label Electric Shapes line up ‘All Is One Remixes‘ from label co-founder and producer Dovydas Platakis, better known as Jokios Kultūros...Today, we are pleased to premiere Tassilo Vanhöfen’s version of ‘Split‘ thanks to its ultra-occult soundtrack blending acid-infused mysticism and synth-driven downtempo. As the track opens with sub-filtered arpeggios and cryptic invocations, followed by a synth-heavy chorus and spiraling hi-hats, it brings the listeners into a state of inexorable delirium for nearly 6-minutes.

In collaboration with GIVE/TAKE, Avalanche Recordings, Justin K. Broadrick and Cocaine Opera we give you the exclusive premiere of "Mercury Eats Gold", taken from the forthcoming self-titled release by Tactical Pagan.

In essence his own take on the 1980's industrial music warps everything into a mesmerizing and catchy rhythmic sound that gives all the good parts of classic industrial music a new life through other genres and influences. Some are minimal, other are bombastic and with a razor sharp edge he lunges at you with this release. Cutting out all the worst parts of industrial and throwing in the good, desolate, abandoned and hopelessness that echoes throughout each track. 

"Mercury Eats Gold" is a noise-driven and minimalistic trip, through sampling and echoing guitars that bounce off the soundscape. Delving into a bleak outlook of sound that carries itself through noise-born rhythms and melodies that are created with "simplicity" in mind and turned into an ambitious and complex sound as a whole the further the track goes.
