Notion Records is an Independent recording studio based in Taos, NM.  Originally "A-C Productions", Notion Records was conceived by Alejandro "A-C" Chacon who is the studio's Chief Engineer/Producer back in 1998.  A-C started his education by taking guitar class and provided the roll as a Sound Engineer for Taos High School's TV Production program.  After A-C received his High School Diploma, he attended the Art Institute of Seattle and obtained his Associates of Applied Arts in Audio Production in 2000.  Since then he has recorded countless demos, albums, voice-overs, and audio for video (soundtrack replacement).  

Other than Recording/Producing, A-C sings R&B and Rock, plays Drums, Rhythm Guitar, Keys/Synth, Voice Acting, and Lyrical Flow,  Since 1994, A-C has performed as a Singer/Drummer/Keyboardist in bands such as Gravity, Shadows Remain, A-C & Lodi, Eclectic Profits, P.B.R. (Paper Beats Rock), Cosmic Dog, Lucid Elements, No. 9, Breaking The Cycle, and The Fingers.  

As of now, A-C is recording his long awaited R&B album and assembling a band to back the project on the road.  Notion Records is also looking for Artists/Musicians who are looking to record a project at a discounted rate.  Message for details.
