Austral nos ubica al sur del meridiano, un territorio poco explorado de donde emergen mujeres sedientas y apasionadas por crear de diferentes maneras, sonidos etéreos que hablan de nuestro continente. 

Este various es una recopilación de un pequeño fragmento de productoras latinoamericanas, que están abriendo brecha en la exploración y composición sonora de música electrónica; un pequeño abre bocas de un proyecto en el que el colectivo NÓTT, ubicado en Medellín - Colombia, busca seguir dando visibilidad a las mujeres en la industria de la música.

Austral locates us at the south hemisphere, an unexplored territory from where thirsty and passionate women emerge and  are currently creating ethereal sounds in different ways, which gives a voice to our continent.

This compilation is just a small fragment of Latin American women producers, who are opening a gap in the exploration and sound composition of electronic music, an appetizer of a project leaded by NÓTT (Medellín (COL) based feminist collective) that seeks to keep giving visibility and opportunities to women in the Latin America music industry.

NÓTT is the goddess of the night in Norse mythology . It was characterized by its imposing presence. It was a tough woman, with clear ideas who hated pink attitudes. Still, she always had an attitude of solidarity , promoting the efforts of people, even if they ignored that she was a deity. She wanted people to knew how far were they could get, taking them to the end of their capabilities.

Es la diosa de la noche en la mitología nórdica. Se caracterizaba por su imponente presencia, fue una mujer dura, de ideas claras y objetivas que odiaba las actitudes rosas. Aun así, siempre tuvo una actitud solidaria, impulsando el esfuerzo de las personas, aunque estás ignorarán que ella fuera una deidad. Sus intenciones eran que supieran hasta dónde eran capaces de llegar, llevándolos al extremo de sus capacidades.
