Originally uploaded on March 17th, 2023 across all streaming platforms, "HAVE A NICE LIFE" was NOTYOURDAD's first release of 2023, as well as the first music release following the release of the debut album Gutter Pimps & Hood Bitches. It features artist Laura Kay in the intro monologue, and the entire concept was to embody the Midwest emo style. The single release art, made by producer D-Juicy and envisioned by NOTYOURDAD, was made to parody the artwork of American Football's original album artwork, but colored pink: the colors of D-Juicy's recording studio, Casa De Rosas Studio in San Marcos, where NOTYOURDAD frequently records at late at night.

HAVE A NICE LIFE

Originally uploaded on May 29th, 2023 across all streaming platforms, "WORLD -1" was NOTYOURDAD's second single release of 2023. The album art depicts NOTYOURDAD sipping on a fruity drink in a work visor, rocking' two-tone aviators and just straight up chillin' next to a treasure chest in what appears to be some aquatic, virtual dimension. Nerds were quick to point out that this was a glitched level in the original Super Mario Bros game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, called "World -1." The song apparently recounts how NOTYOURDAD would escape to a place like this, just to kick it and chill, to get away from it all.

WORLD -1

Originally uploaded on September 10th, 2023 across all streaming platforms, "GET HIGH" was NOTYOURDAD's third release of 2023, and definitely the most popular release of the year, being a popular summertime song which had a catchy, funky beat and uplifting, energetic vocals that encouraged people go get out and have a good time. The single artwork depicts NOTYOURDAD chillin' in a psychedelic dimension, next to a unicorn smoking a fat blunt, likely getting very stoned.

GET HIGH

Originally uploaded on October 9th, 2023 across all streaming platforms, "I THROW MY CAR BATTERIES IN THE OCEAN ( IT IS SAFE AND IT IS LEGAL TO DO )" was NOTYOURDAD's fourth and final single release of 2023, and is a nod to the popular Internet meme where people dispose of their car batteries in the ocean. NOTYOURDAD promises to dispose of people's car batteries into the ocean, recharging eels and other aquatic life in the process. Many consider this song to be the meme's unofficial anthem.

I THROW MY CAR BATTERIES IN THE OCEAN ( IT IS SAFE AND IT IS LEGAL TO DO )

Released on January 23rd, 2024, "OH FUCK" is NOTYOURDAD's first single release of 2024, and the first song to have been produced by a separate producer then D-Juicy. The beat, which was made by Hood Operata of post-rap collective Loose Bluntz, worked on this song with NOTYOURDAD when he arrived to his studio one night in a drunken stupor. The two apparently collaborated on other tracks in the same night, which are said to make an appearance on the upcoming Loose Bluntz debut album, Ground Weed. The song "OH FUCK," apart from being made in an inebriated state, was all rapped in one continuous take, being the first example of a NOTYOURDAD freestyle to have ever been recorded and uploaded. The style itself is reminiscent of Loose Bluntz' own post-rap style of hardcore, genre-defying elements which do not fit in with the mainstream expectations of a conventional hip-hop / rap release, as it exhibits a punk rock level of grittiness in both beat quality and lyrical content: a departure from NOTYOURDAD's typical upbeat and funky releases the year prior.

NOTYOURDAD is an unsigned artist who gained popularity with the release of his debut album in July 2022, titled Gutter Pimps & Hood Bitches. His music can be described as ranging between different genres, influenced heavily by rap and hip-hop, but also delving into pop and hard rock influences.
