Next up we welcome two artists that we love very much here at Berlin-Brighton. Not only that, these two connoisseurs also run a label that we have been playing tracks from for quite some time on our radio shows and events.

Meet Sven & Sven, aka the Pornbugs! They started their common career in various clubs and radio stations in Germany in 2000, and since 2005 they perform mainly as Pornbugs. Pornbugs is the deep-/minimal house project of the guys, featurng a unique dancefloor sound. Their international gigs have lead them to Cape Town, New York, London, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Santiago, San Francisco and Washington, to name a few.

In January 2006 they founded their label Bondage-Music as a platform for ambitious releases of deep-/techhouse. The label has made a huge impact in the electronic scene since then, with releases by talented artistssuch as Mihai Popoviciu, Markus Homm, NTFO, Super Flu, Sascha Dive, Gorge, El Mundo, Frink, Philip Gonzales, Tuccillo and many many more. We caught up with the two Svens to find out about their journey and what's coming up in 2024.

Davide Decay, the mastermind behind the London based Decay Records label, Enfasi Records and the newly launched Yecad Music vinyl concept has been involved with the electronic music scene since 1992. Hailing originally from Milan and transplanting his passion for music to London in November 1996, Davide embodies the intersection of diverse cultures and sonic landscapes. 

The journey began amidst the electric energy of the infamous Vertigo Party at the Cross, where he first worked as a PR before seamlessly transitioning into the art of DJ'ing. From the revered halls of Ministry of Sound to the iconic decks of Fabric on Sundays, Davide's signature sound has reverberated across London's most cherished institutions. In the dimly lit corners of The Lion and the Lamb, the pulsating beats of Shoreditch Platform, the raw energy of 93 Feet East, and the electric atmosphere of Egg London, Davide Decay has showcased his craft for years, not focused on trends or hype but solely on quality music. A frequent visitor of the mediterranean club paradise island of Ibiza he has shaped his eclectic knowledge and experience of sound in countless clubs and epic afterparties.

The initial string of releases took place on Viva Music, Tusba Records, Real Tone, 1Trax, Luna Records as one half of DZeta 'N' Basile collaboration. An absolute highlight was their groundbreaking remix of Robert Owens's "I'll be your friend" - definitely one for the books as well as their version of Kerri Chandler's "Bar A Thym". It was however with the launch of Decay Records in 2013, Davide found his true calling, curating sonic landscapes that resonate with the depths of his soul. Recent remix work with Julien Sandre, Ray Okpara and Giorgio Maulini are mirroring his current eclectic music taste, that has been evolving over the course of many years.

Davide's underground ethos and charismatic presence have made him a fixture at London's legendary locations and intimate gatherings as he invites audiences on a journey of sonic exploration unlike any other.

Artslaves born in 2012 by two Neapolitan producers, Alessandro Rondinone and Domenico Gei, who decide to merge their names and create a new musical project, which may reflect their young but already influential label, Moan Recordings. They already make people talking about since the first release on BlaBla, Inmotion, where they receive wide acclaim and support from world famous DJs. Marco Carola opens the Time Warp in Mannheim with their track "Squilla" on Inmotion on 2013. Their last Ep with the talented Wade reaches great position inside the Top 100 tracks on Beatport and It was played at every Music On from Amnesia to Cocoricò to Kappa Future Festival. They arranged some remixes for Moan, to Miguel Lobo, with the Re-UP and Jordan Peak and the EP of Desolat pupils, Francisco Allendes and Bimas, with Sable Sheep and Luca Agnelli. Their first EP was released on Moan in 2013, a successful collaboration with the French talent Loquace, and two remixes by awesome artists, such as Hector and DJ W!ld. Engaged in numerous Moan showcases, the Artslaves begin to make their appearance in many parties and festivals, including Hungary, Spain, United Kingdom, France and Italy. Their first appearance at the Sonar Off is on 2014, alongside Nick Curly, Marco Faraone, Leon, Gel Abril, Macromism. With more than ten years of experience behind the decks, influenced by house, funky and techno giving to their set a very personal touch, creating the right atmosphere and feelings, wherever they play.
