“Sometimes” is the seventh and final version of the song LovePeace. With every version of this song I search for a new voice and a new understanding for the concept of peace finding its roots in love for the fellow human being. Through this song in all its voices I try to contribute to a climate of listening and understanding as opposed to the current climate of shouting and misunderstanding. 
We don’t need newer, stronger leaders. 
We need questions and forgiveness. 
And our health of course, given the difficulties we are facing today with COVID-19. Let's watch out for each other.

This song was performed by JoPie and produced by SMP. The design and edit of the video on youtube was done by Fons Hudiot, who based it on the concept of human cooperation through understanding. To dance is one of the most basic forms for this in any part of the world. Hudiot used parts of the six preceding videos to make it a true finale of the project.

Together with my friend Chris Hepbeat I am part of the two piece band  Hovius Hepbeat, formerly known as JoPie.

The Dream Of The Haunted Hero is a rock instrumental inspired by the strange times we live in. The sound was influenced by Pink Floyd and Brückner. The imagery is based on dreams after watching films like Terence Malick's "Tree Of Life", as well as  "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle"  by the incomparable Hayo Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. 
The building used as the viewers' mighty opponent in this video is the wooden tower outside of Westhove Castle at Oostkapelle, The Netherlands.
