For A Daydream: Love (Lost)

Greetings friends.  It's been a while since I've recorded a set for my For A Daydream series, but happy to have this new entry in the books.  This mix explores familiar themes of love and love lost.  A few luminous moments here for sure, but suffused with the overall somber vibe that I tend to gravitate toward.  Lots of pretty tracks included in this set which I had been saving for my annual Valentine's Day mix that I unfortunately couldn't find the time to record.  No sense in letting them languish unused in the crates though :)  Hope ya'll enjoy it! <3

Mark Salner’s journey started in the early 90s with the legendary Storm Raves in Brooklyn. The underground music captivated his soul and he quickly became part of the growing community. Being inspired by many legendary DJs, Mark was determined to put his own spin on the dance floors.  His passion for electronic music grew into producing events and DJing in some of the most legendary clubs and raves from the East to the West Coast and abroad. Upon graduating from the Institute of Audio Research in 1999, Mark also dived into music production as well. His style of Deep Progressive House & Techno is influenced by the Burning Man community and world best producers.

You can catch Mark Salner DJing at many underground events in NYC & Miami. Mark’s signature sound of low bass with melodic progressive grooves is guaranteed to transform any night into a Magical Journey.  Starting a record label Universal Love Tribe in March of 2017, created a perfect outlet as A&R to connect with amazing international producers and promote best underground talent from around the world.

Hello angels,

Monday evening has arrived, which means that the first day of a new week is already passing by us. In Holland we welcomed a royal celebration day, which could've been the biggest sunniest of celebrations in years, from our homes. 

It's an undeniable fact that these times are strange to us... And as we try to decipher any divine message behind this time of isolation we welcome our dearest Philip Straub to the creators section of our SoundCloud.

Philip is the angel that brings us to Dubai, to Soho Garden, where we can connect with people that we love dearly with musician that we adore. It's a great honour to have the wonder being and his big heart now on the creative side.

A talented musician that we will sure welcome behind the decks in the New World. Music is the answer.
