Team GB - Broken Promises

Next up on All Centre is Jordan-based artist Toumba with three club-ready cuts. On the title track, Toumba excels in tension-building as the bass-heavy track warps into tripped-out drums and rising drones. 

This is the first time Toumba has released on a label with his two previous releases being pushed on his own Bandcamp page. He is a master in percussion and often brings together traditional folklore from Jordan and the Arab Peninsula and contemporary UK club sounds. Toumba also has a residency on Ma4azef called Gate 4, every 4th Wednesday.

Following their latest EP on Dusky's 17 Steps, new release from Formally Unknown — the Saint-Petersburg duo — is an attempt to summarize and reflect on their experience of the past — from dark’n’sweaty dj sets under the heavy ceilings of ‘Tunnel’ to carefree partying in dusty quarrys and endless fields of Russian North West rurals.

This bass heavy four-tracker is a diverse smorgasbord of jungle infused beats, squelchy bleeps and precise sonics of classic hardware drum machines that had stood the test of time — the tracks were made between 2015 and 2017.

@Waltonmcr heads into the 'Abyss' on his new @Tectonic-recordings EP.

The Manchester-based producer is no stranger to @DJ-Pinch's revered label, what with projects like his 'Black Lotus' LP or his more recent 'Inside' EP released via the Bristol imprint.

Elsewhere, Walton's delivered a slew of intriguing grime via dubstep via dark techno mutations on Kaizen, Keysound, Hi Tek Sounds and more of late, but it makes total sense to have him back on Tectonic during the label's celebratory 15th birthday year.

Our pick from 'Abyss', 'Smashed Crabs', is a certified, signed and sealed screwface inducer (much like the rest of the EP, tbh) that we can't wait to hear played out thanks to Walton's wizardry when it comes to pairing early noughties grime flavour with sounds of the future.

Two years after “Family Horror” various double 12“, we fill the gap by releasing catalogue no.10 including interpretations of 3 tracks from the compilation.
It is no accident that the original artists met their brothers in mind for choosing their favorite horror track. Whites Edward converted Johannes Beck, hamburgs analogue king RVDS rolls up with Even Tuell and the swedish duo of dancefloor-masters Axel Boman and Petter called Salax Peep Show restarted the machines for Map.ache. The family stories continues.
