To celebrate the fifteenth release of the ÆX series the Amsterdam label presents a special collaboration with Delsin Records. ÆX started back in 2017 as a white-label offshoot from the Indigo Aera imprint, Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff had a plan to create a platform with a mix of like-minded unknown, well-known and admired artists. This no-nonsense approach with stamped white labels and uncredited tracks quickly grew up to be one of their most committed projects to date.

Four years later and fourteen releases in, ÆX015 is a special split EP in collaboration with the closely related Delsin Records. Both labels invited three names to present a fresh and dancefloor focussed pack of grooves and moods.

On ÆX's a-side, three familiar faces Taupe, Emeline (also known as the Parisian artist Molly) and label curator Jasper Wolff bring their warm, acidic, bass-heavy grooves in typical fashion. The b-side comes from Delsin who introduces three new artists to the team. R.O.W.S from the Swedish sewer sender crew going in with a miles-deep dub-techno take. From Barcelona, it's Annie Hall with an emotive blend of her crispy electro. At last there's Yone-ko wrapping up the pack with grooving subtle hazy house moods.

Barcelona based Annie Hall drops her debut EP on 20/20 Vision ‘Maruxaina’, following releases on D1, Detroit Underground, Semantica, CPU and most recently our Exit Planet Earth vinyl series. Annie’s eclectic and uniquely expressive output has seen her serve up tracks that take you straight to the dance floor, alongside complex and inventive musical soundscapes.

Kicking things off on the A side the title track ‘Maruxaina’ draws you in with nostalgic breaks and bass trudges, complimented by warm echoed chords and hypnotic tones. Next up on the A side ‘Meiga’ serves up a driving groove with deep rolling drums and patterned glitches, intertwining uplifting chord progressions and a soothing vocal, forming a uniquely mesmerising electronic soundscape. 

‘Brétema’ opens up the B side with a space bound atmospheric gem, grounded by a solid break groove yet elevated with cinematographic synths and harmonic melodies. Wrapping up the EP ‘Sarabia’ provides an unapologetic experimental expression that blurs the boundaries of genre, with off kilter pads, deep kicks and edgy glass synths creating a beautifully obscure serenity.

Kosmic Skaut is a DJ currently operating between Brno and Prague. He is the curator of the music show Čerstvý Matro at Radio Infame specializing in the promotion of new music material on the electronic scene. In recent years he also collaborating with Marie Pravda on their side project Transcendanz - the ritual gathering oriented towards organic, hypnotic, psy and goa sound of all different positions. He also runs with friends a space called Nášup, where once in a while they organize smaller secret parties with local artists and homemade pizza. Another side project of Kosmic Skaut is Studio 410, it's a space for training DJ experience and recording a podcast for all DJs from the city.
