Ellen Allien hat fantastische Remixer dazu eingeladen, ihre eigenen Ideen auf Tracks ihres neuesten Albums Alientronic für das erste von mehreren Remix-Paketen zu übertragen. Terence Fixmer und Introversion remixen "Love Distortion": Terence rockt mit einem massiven Gitarrenriff und extra fetter Perkussion, während Introversion seinem Rework ein dunkleres Gefühl verleiht und ein Trance-inspiriertes Element hinzufügt, um den Hörer zu hypnotisieren und in eine andere Dimension zu versetzen. Regal droppt einen "XTC Remix" von "Electronic Joy" mit energiegeladener Percussion und bezauberndem Retro-Feeling. Our latest premiere features a track titled 'Stop Crying' by promising French artist Darzack which is forthcoming on his 'A Night Lulled By Cupid Cygals' EP on Parisian label Take Hit Records.

Growing up the artistic hub of Brittany in France, Darzack’s intensive drum and percussions training, piano and singing lessons led him to begin experimenting with electronic music and hardware discovery. 

Darzack’s productions create bridges between various musical styles becoming a huge musical melting pot featuring floaty melancholic moments, acid touches and breakbeat inspirations.  

On the flip side, ‘Stop Crying’ lays down fast-paced drums, rising pads and cosmic leads driving the energy into oblivion.

The EP also sees Darzack invite JoeFarr for remix duties on 'Fucking Masked Depression' which is an absolute killer as you would expect from the man.

Italian techno producer Alignment returns to Regal’s Involve Records with a heavy four track release entitled ‘1992’.  

When not making regular appearances on voxnox Records, Alignment has been releasing on Involve Records, Etruria Beat and Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT. His tracks have received regular support from the upper echelons of techno, including Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing and Amelie Lens, with the latter including his collaboration with Regal in her fabric mix compillation. Debuting on Regal’s label in 2018, he now makes a highly anticipated return to Involve Records.  

Opening with ‘1992’, a thundering cut with rave elements, crystalline stabs and indistinct vocals - this release is a white knuckle ride from the word go. ‘1993’ is next with its offbeat hats and infectous melody as kick drums pummel you into submission, followed by the murkier sounding ‘1994’ which features industrial sounds alongside various zips and zaps. Concluding the package, ‘1995’ is the most hypnotic inclusion courtesy of whirring synths that evolve into a screaming lead.  

Alignment ‘1992’ drops on Involve Records on 20th May 2020.
