Here we go with our very first exclusive premiere and we've got a corker to get things rolling. Venezuelan duo Fur Coat have kindly given us the first play of the title track from their forthcoming EP 'There's No Time', which is coming out on Jamie Jones' ever popular Hot Creations label.

This new track is a perfect example of their love affair with the sleazier side of house music, razor sharp synth lines cascade over a hefty set of percussion and a rumbling, morose b-line while a pitched-down, barely audible vocal lurks in the background. Full Premiere: Fur Coat - There's No Time (Original Mix)

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

Set the Mood with Creznight!

This 63rd edition of Set the Mood captures the essence of how Creznight first fell in love with techno. When he stepped into a club for the very first time, the room was still empty, but he was instantly hooked. The music wasn’t heavy yet, but it was beautiful. There was space between the sounds, carried by deep, rolling basslines. Even though it was loud, it didn’t feel harsh. The smoke filled the air, and the atmosphere was mysterious, with pads and subtle strings adding melody in the background. The bass felt warm, almost like it was breathing with the room. For Creznight, it was a spiritual feeling.

To him, that’s the essence of an opening set. It should feel calm but alive, full of variety without being overwhelming. It’s about building slowly, guiding the energy step by step, always one move ahead of the crowd. In his opinion, the hardest, and most important, slot of the night is the opener. Without a strong opener, the vibe can be ruined before it even begins. He compares it to waking up fully stressed—you spend the whole day recovering.

That’s why Creznight believes an opening set should have a sense of predictability and flow, but never fall into monotony. It should explore deeper sounds, with enough variety to keep the room engaged and gradually evolve into something more danceable for the next DJ. In this mix, he has leaned into that deeper side, creating a warm, rolling journey that starts subtle and builds into movement.

As the owner of Oefenmeesters, one of our own, Creznight carries that same vision into his wider work: creating spaces, sets, and experiences that inspire growth, connection, and flow.

Fuse resident Downside delivers the ninth release on Fuse Imprint with Traces Of Spring, a record that reflects both clean articulation and careful tension building. Across four tracks, he explores a balance of intensity and restraint, depicting a narrative that mirrors his evolving role within the club.

Opening with Until It Fades, the A1 sets a hypnotic tone through patient layering and ambient space, hinting at drama while maintaining subtlety. With Blackout Protocol, the atmosphere turns into focus through an imposing, clear low-end that takes control, driving a darker framework designed for moments of deepened urgency. On the flip, Revolt moves with raw immediacy, its rhythm pushing forward with detail and weight, yet strangely uplifting. Closing with the title track, Traces Of Spring offers a suspended atmosphere, delicate in rhythm and melody, it's a reflection of the fragile balance between soft synth tension hanging by a thread and a focused, monumental pace.

With this release, Downside contributes a coherent and articulate statement to the Fuse catalogue, one that captures both the physicality of the dancefloor and the subtleties that extend beyond it.

‘Polar Era‘ comes out! This is the second reference of Lycaon TM, label owned by Agony Forces, the group that already surprised with their first: ‘The Noir Age‘. This delivery is composed by two original tracks and remixes by the duo Ancient Methods from Berlin, and by the leader of techno in Spain, Oscar Mulero.

The reference opens with the original version of Polar era, a pulsing and hypnotic techno track. White noise and reverb-soaked atmospheres get the intensity grow higher and higher until the climax, in which a pad makes an appearance and then returns to the initial energy. 909 rhythms and percussions make this a perfect piece for DJ‘s working the track.

Vertebra is the second cut, where the AF shows the distinguishing features of his characteristic sound, a track in which the sensitivity of idm and techno with a capital combine to result in a timeless cut. Deep drums, futuristic stabs and sound of classic rhythm are the ingredients of the end of side A.

The two producers Ancient Methods take charge of the first of the remixes, and bring in their distinctive sound to the reference giving a twist to the original track, getting the more industrial side playing with the intensity of the rhythms and hypnotic melodies. No doubt the producers „Made in Berlin“ stamped their breath on the track.

The reference closes with Oscar Mulero’s remix, who brings out his most thoughtful and timeless character to build a track in which the influence of electronic with roots in the past decade is more than obvious. Not to mention his trademark and his background in the world of techno, the track is a perfect brooch to close this second reference.
