The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from IZAN CRAMER. "00:00" is the title track off the new EP from the Barcelona-based artist. "00:00" distills a raw, minimalist aesthetic with clinical precision across eight tracks, poised to become a timeless record. It invites listeners on an “interplanetary inward journey,” exploring the strange serenity found in resignation, coldness, and emotional anesthesia — suggesting that “in a world designed to crush you, you simply watch, waiting with hope for the moment when the world finds its center again.”

The title was inspired by a personal experience: the forced closure of Izan’s club, which led him to discover a stoic beauty in the midst of adversity. For him, “00:00 is everything because it is nothing. It is a new beginning, a new chance — where everything that takes life away from us is what ultimately gives it back.”

Yung Jacob is a DJ from Leipzig and a co-founder of collective and label Proper Pull. 
His ever evolving and changing sound involves an omnium gatherum of layered introverted soundscapes and bright emotional rollercoasters. Proper Pull also recently released ‘Mutable Plains’ - a collection of five psychedelic tracks that channel tek, techno and psytrance including tracks by DJ Ibon, Disto and bratanova.


After playing multiple trance b2bs with my fellow collective member CH4RL20TTE, I wanted to combine my reignited love for the modern psychedelic trance scene with current melancholic dub and UK techno productions that I have been spinning a lot lately. I have always been drifting in and out of different sounds over the years but techno and trance have been a constant companion since the 90s for me. And while all tracks are modern productions, they do contain a lot of influences from different genres and eras that shaped my current musical taste like 90s progressive trance or the late 2010s Copenhagen techno scene.
