Various Artists - Collisioni Sonore Pt.1 UP002

After emerging in spring, Unità Psicofisica takes a further step towards exploring Music as a matter of perception with its second output, “Collisioni Sonore”, which widens the already disclosed principles of the label, celebrating the oneness of body and mind. Combining the individual efforts of four artists whose musical output lies in the most ritualistic and awareness-expanding side of techno, “Collisioni Sonore” proves how collision might generate harmony.
Swedish producer and musical shaman Korridor opens the ceremony with “Geotetra”, a pulsating crescendo of metallic tones and ethereal echoes which drill a tunnel through time and space. “Quantum Decay”, courtesy of Italian mind PRG/M, takes over with its dystopian atmosphere, evoked by a finely organized (de)construction of abrasive textures and sharp-edged sounds. B-side breaks in with “Umalog”, a brain-frying, polyrhythmic excursion, meticulously crafted by French artist Von Grall, who manages to blend a ravishing energy infusion with a subtle tint of urban melancholy. Konstrukt’s label founder SHLTR closes the release with the eerie and intense “Pashupatinath”, a purifying drift into beatless territories, guiding the emotional reconnection with the Self at the end of the inward trip.

Inland returns to his home label with a new four track EP - ‘2122’.

After an explorative soundtrack-LP with conceptual artist Julian Charrière on A-TON in late 2018, and a high pressure club 12’’ on Figure in March, this next EP from the UK-born producer (Ed Davenport) tightens the gap between those two contrasting disciplines. Tough, galvanic techno cuts pair with detailed bleep trips in a new strain of mature and confident output.

On the A1 and B1 lie optimised, modernist DJ tools; ‘2122’ and ‘Noisefields’ both journey toward a brooding, alien inferno. Meanwhile orbiting alarm signals (’Stowaway’) and the psychedelic funk of ‘Lifeline’ chart a lesser-known course, scanning the outer reaches in search of new sonic textures and future dance rituals.

The vinyl release of '2122' will feature a full-cover sleeve featuring artwork by London-based photographer Tom Kavanagh. Mastered by FAR.

Mikołaj Topolski also known as Random Sequence is a Gdańsk based producer and DJ. Tracks and DJ sets of Random Sequence consist of a large dose of techno and a pinch of ambient music. He is a part of Gdańsk based collective called Nocturn. He released several EP’s in labels such as Induxtriall Records and Gain Records so far. In near future Random Sequence will play in clubs such as Sfinks700 (Sopot) and Protokutlura (Gdańsk). He has been connected with electronic music from an early age, which often translates into the tracks, that he plays. Random Sequence often works with Marboc. The EP’s that they’ve created can be heard on labels such as DRVMS LTD. and Frequenza Records.
