'Apocalypse Basement Dance EP'

Kmyle is back on Skryptöm! It’s his first release on the label since his debut album ‘Northern Landscapes’ in 2017, though he’s kept himself busy releasing on other labels and creating his own imprint Kmyle Records.

On ‘Apocalypse Basement Dance’ he takes us on a techno journey in a world on the verge of collapse. After being locked in for such a long time or simply not allowed to dance in clubs, Kmyle dreams of the freedom of one big dance, hidden in a basement, everyone in communion. Join in, have some fun!

We welcome TIARNØLA to episode 001 of our Disintegrated Podcast.

TIARNØLA is a techno DJ from Cork.  He draws his inspiration from early 2000s techno, and melodic trance elements.

 In 2021, he released on several techno labels including Dusk Records, Dancefloor Impact Research, Normative and Agora Records.  He also appeared on podcast series including NAKT and Technopsis.   
DJing wise his performances included playing at Pharmacia in Limerick for Kemmy Gaff, and different raves in Dublin & Cork.

This year he is releasing on both Irish & international labels, while also managing MTRPLS, a techno label which he co-runs.   

Most recently he made an appearance for Thump Techno, and this mix carries on in the same vein of form, drawing on the grooves of techno verterans DAVE The Drummer and David Moleon, and combining it with the power of newer artists such as Blicz, Blame the Mono & B2.

Sørenga is a young Ukrainian producer and DJ who has been living in Europe for more than 4 years. So far there is practically nothing to say about him, as he is just getting on his feet as an artist. An album is expected soon on the German label Cartel Recordings, as well as a series of free tracks on The Techno's Children label and 𝕰𝖓𝖘𝖊𝖒𝖇𝖑𝖊 𝕶𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖐𝖙𝖎𝖛.

This project was inspired by the performances of Ali "Perc" Wells at the Russian site Monasterio Moscow. The fast and dance engine will give a modern and up-to-date sound at a speed of 153 bpm.

Long time Soma affiliate, Rebekah, teams up with X-Tension for an absolute riotous collaborative new release, the Rancor EP. An aggressive beast, this newly formed partnership wastes no time in hitting hard with an absolutely monstrous 3 track EP

Title tracks Rancor is a jarring and driving affair with screaming, distorted percussion and huge pulsing synth hooks, this is certainly one beast no cage can hold. First Encounter brings out the nightmare vibes from the off as a blood curdling synth drone gives way to pummelling kicks and a proper jacked up rhythm. This track really takes things up a notch with creative programming and sharp, slicing percussive workouts. Don’t Tell Mama closes out this collab the pair’s no nonsense approach continues to hammer through. Rough and ragged drums sear consistently while freakish vocals haunt the breaks, backed by thundering, highly processed drones.
