The Chicago-based, Puerto Rican artist plunges listeners into a dystopian soundscape where the boundaries between reality, simulation, and manipulation blur into a chaotic nightmare. Drawing on the sinister themes of MK-Ultra, Remote Viewing, and the dissonance between body and mind, this EP unravels the horrors of a world where the mind is no longer safe. The heavy, pulsating beats of Electronic Body Music (EBM) and Techno Body Music (TBM) form the backbone of the album, driving a relentless rhythm that echoes the cold, mechanical heart of a simulated reality. Industrial and Dark Electro elements weave through each track, creating a dense, oppressive atmosphere that mirrors the claustrophobic feeling of being trapped in a world where your every thought and move are monitored, manipulated, and controlled.

After OW001's maiden-voyage into outer space, Outworld now takes us to the underworld courtesy of label head Klangkuenstler's 'Balthazar' EP, which marries raw peaktime-power with claustrophobic-come-ecstatic atmospheres, served over the course of four tracks.
The devil's dancing on the title-track: as serrated off-hits shatter on tough kicks, a wicked saw-riff begins to drill through the drums as if summoned from Hades. In contrast, the bass-driven body and pulsating sinus-tone of 'Zorn Amons' grind like teeth as they build in tension. A moment of illusive release comes with 'Das Schattenreich', on which the reverberating, fast-paced percussion
runs for escape, hunted fiercely by a meaty trance-lead. On 'Jenseits', though, Klangkuenstler pulls us back into purgatory, showcasing a dramatic end to a carefully crafted and devilishly fun EP of rough club bangers.

Canada's Atroxx is set to release massive forthcoming collaboration with fellow Montreal based producer Mike Laz on his own label Starskream on August 23rd. 

The collaboration between Atroxx and the up-and-coming techno prodigy will be the seventh stellar release on Starskream. Named after Slipknot’s DJ Starscream, the label has a similar ethos to the heavy metal juggernauts with a focus on menacing, bass-driven, unapologetic techno.

The four track EP also features two mixes from Dutch producer and internationally recognised name in techno, Industrialyzer. The first is a heavy techno weapon that packs a punch at the same time as inviting the listener to become entirely immersed in the kick driven stomper. Industrialyzer’s Warehouse mix cranks things up even further with enough industrial-strength percussion and conjuring synths to dominate even the most formidable of dancefloors.
