The EP is made of three techno dancefloor tracks, a powerful energetic 'Forgotten Tolerance', a trippier 'Black Ceremonium', a techno tunnel 'Trehver' and is completed with pure electro new school vibes on 'Lying Neighbours'. On remix duty, polish producer SZMER presents his unique and personal approach to techno.

Toronto’s Aahan has steadily seen a growing following of techno listeners from all over the world, along with support from industry standout artists, like Dax J, DJ Stingray, Perc, Stephanie Sykes to name a few. With releases landed on labels like Monnom Black and Clergy, the future looks bright for Aahan, who brings his relentless take on techno to BitterCaress’ label, MFC Records (@mfcrecords). 

MFC Records' second release is a Single Artist EP with 3 tracks from Aahan, and a remix by Luna Vassarotti (@luna-violenta-1).

This EP aims to raise awareness about a cause that the artist defends and that is dear to his heart. We are talking here about violence against women in Turkey. Aahan has been watching the women’s rights movement in Turkey for a while now and thinks it is an issue that needs more attention from the media and the public at large.

The non-for-profit organization supported for this release is the Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation. This was established in 1990 by feminists in order to combat violence against women in Turkey.

MFC 15 : Aahan - Freya

Jon Krieger is a DJ and producer living in Edinburgh who released his first EP this year, "You Have The Right To Remain Silent", with single releases on Milkit and COUP's Free Download series. A handful of new releases are coming out over the next few months, which he is really excited about. Pre-pandemic times, he was making regular appearances for Overground (Mash House/Bongo Club), and has played at the likes of FLY Open Air and Terminal V Festival. He is hoping to continue that trend when everything resumes back to normal.
Jon would describe his taste and style as dark, relentless and chaotic. However, he likes to explore different genres and styles with his mixes and productions as much as possible.
As well as producing over the pandemic he has put out a number of mixes for Animal Farm, Carouse, Duplicity Edinburgh and more.

After six strong releases on the community run label, the Collective Details crew marches on. Since the start, the community has been hosting production challenges, each with a different theme and open to all members of the Collective Details' Discord server that are willing to participate. Selecting the tracks to make it onto the EPs was never an easy task, considering the amount of talent present, so the label steadily accumulated an archive of tracks that we just can’t keep from the public. To celebrate this community and all its artists, we present a compilation of tracks that has been building since CDR’s first release. 13 different artists channeled their longings for the dancefloor and out came the collection of tracks in front of you - a mixture of straight stompers and shuffling broken beat odysseys.
