We're pleased to welcome back Kevin Villa to the label. This is his debut EP on Illegal Alien Records, after his last contribution to our latest Deported Series: Twelve compilation released last February. Kevin returns, and we are thrilled to present you his brand-new work titled 'Echoes from the 9th Floor' a massive six-track EP that also includes a great remix from the Illegal Alien Ricardo Garduno. Without a doubt, this is a fantastic debut EP from the Colombian DJ and producer.

Our latest Belucast features Enkō, a Lisbon-based artist whose sets are all about depth, groove, and precision. With a background in sound design and years of experience behind the decks, Enkō draws from a wide palette—bridging hypnotic repetition with finely crafted textures.

As the mind behind SUMMA and a resident at Basilar Festival, he plays a key role in shaping the pulse of Portugal’s techno underground. His work extends beyond the booth, with releases on labels like HAYES, AWRY, BCCO, and SUBOSC, as well as an active role in event curation and editorial work for some of the country’s leading festivals.

His mix for Belucast is a patient burner—layered, detailed, and deeply physical. Now streaming on SoundCloud.

Con una trayectoria que combina el diseño sonoro, la producción musical y una fuerte presencia en cabina, Enkō es fundador de SUMMA y residente en Basilar Festival, donde impulsa el techno más envolvente del circuito portugués. The record opens with "Contatto", a fluid and refined track where aquatic synth textures bounce elegantly over a sleek and captivating groove. "Vanta" follows with a more driving and hypnotic energy a stripped-down tool designed to shake the floor with precision and style.

"Twin State" shifts the mood with rolling rhythms and sharp, sophisticated sound design a perfect fusion of past and future aesthetics. "Oroboro" then explores deeper territory, offering warm textures and a seemingly gentle presence, while concealing a powerful low-end drive that makes it both subtle and impactful.

Closing the release, the digital-only "Kinesis" delivers a minimal, synth-driven journey echoing the spirit of classic techno, reimagined through a crisp and modern lens.
