PHYR Records unveils its landmark fifth release, presenting a profound artistic collaboration: Oscar Mulero and label founder Pyramidal Decode join forces for "Il Poema EP," a double black vinyl that traverses the depths of techno’s sonic and conceptual frontiers.

Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s legendary Divina Commedia, "Il Poema" is conceived as a transformative journey through the labyrinths of the psyche. Twelve meticulously crafted tracks, each echoing a phrase from the poem, act as electronic stanzas—guiding listeners from darkness to transcendence.
About the Artists
Oscar Mulero — An icon in the global techno landscape, Mulero is celebrated for his avant-garde production, razor-sharp DJ sets, and relentless commitment to sonic evolution. Berlin-based techno label REBELSKIN has released tracks by Fresko, Ricardo Garduno, and Joey Beltram and the fifth release sees bossman DAST step out to the forefront.

Born in Italy and currently living in Berlin, DAST has a vast production history that includes releases on major labels like Fixon and Dig-it's ANAØH, Pan-Pot's Second State, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Coyu's Suara, On Edge Society, and Unrilis, to mention a few.

Conrad Van Orton is a renowned producer from Rome who has contributed to a number of well-known imprints including Developer's Modularz, Slam's Soma, Inland's Counterchange, Remco Beekwilder's EMERALD, and Oscar Mulero's PoleGroup.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of "Power Thing" where his rendition transforms the oiginal into a smooth, gliding take with deep chords, synth stabs, fluttering percussion, and the perfect mix of dreamy, driving tension.

Gordo Trax presents its first split, pairing STNDRD—a Portuguese producer based in Barcelona—with Wale’s Motion Symmetry for a four-track statement where pressure, momentum and atmosphere align. STNDRD sets the course with “Underdog”, a close-quarters groove that hisses and bites in all the right places, before opening the scope on “Temporal Voyager”, all taut drums and elastic low-end. The baton passes to Motion Symmetry as “Andromeda” widens the frame with cool, star-facing motifs orbiting a granite rhythm section, and “Serol” closes with steppy drum science and quietly luminous pads—letting the room exhale without losing drive. Two voices, one arc: a split that balances muscle and finesse while extending the Gordo Trax continuum.

STNDRD & Motion Symmetry - Split 01 [GTX035] (Snippets)

Rajtan tajtan is a playful, reduplicative phrase used to describe a lively, rowdy party or commotion, a fitting theme for the tracks on this EP.

Rävspel has become a staple in our live set: a dry, dense, and cheeky workout that just refuses to let up. Raljera shifts the focus to clicky, smattering percussion riding over a steady low-end groove, topped with a mischievous synth line. Pyspunka builds its energy around a panicked sequence and a raw, distorted foundation, while Krokben keeps that distortion, while opening up more space and depth in its twisting, dimensional synth work. All in accordance with our vision of playful & mischievous but always genuine techno.

Rowka - Deconstruct [UX011 | Premiere]

The heavy silver machinery grinded menacingly, the sounds echoing through the corridors of the factory. Despite this it felt eerily quiet; no chattering voices, no music transmitting from the radios around the work rooms. There was no longer any need for humans in this place, their capabilities were no match for these mechanics. It had become a self-functioning operation, taking out the very component that created them in the first place. This was a vision of the future, soon there would become no need for the living. 

Manchester-native Rowka returns to JoeFarr's User Experience imprint for an EP after debuting on a VA compilation in April of this year. This time label boss Joe and Tenebre step up for remix duties, the latter bringing omnious metallic textures to turn 'Source' into an off-kilter techno workout.

For our next premiere we bring to you a hench remix of Rowka's 'Deconstruct' by UX label bossman JoeFarr.  

Having last appeared on the UX VA with a track titled ‘Haff’ and before that with his remix of ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ Rowka now steps up to bring two original tracks for UX011 which also includes remixes from Tenebre and JoeFarr.
