Premiere: Granite Mask aterriza en Urban Legend Records con su nuevo EP 'Before the Storm'. El EP se creó durante los días pesados y oscuros de la pandemia de COVID -19. Hacer este EP se convirtió en una forma de ver la luz al final del túnel durante estos tiempos sombríos, un mecanismo de supervivencia, un vehículo para la creatividad y la reconexión con uno mismo.
En el centro de este trabajo está la idea de centrarnos en las cosas que nos apasionan y adaptarnos a situaciones difíciles.
El EP consta de 4 pistas muy enérgicas y vanguardistas con texturas industriales y de baja fidelidad, ritmos rotos y líneas de sintetizador provocativas. El resultado ilustra el contraste entre la lucha de las condiciones externas y la paz interna generada por la música y la expresión artística.

Premiere: Granite Mask lands on Urban Legend Records with their new EP 'Before the Storm'. The EP was created during the heavy and dark days of the COVID -19 pandemic. Making this EP became a way to see the light at the end of the tunnel during these dark times, a survival mechanism, a vehicle for creativity and reconnection with oneself.
At the core of this work is the idea of ​​focusing on the things we are passionate about and adapting to difficult situations.
The EP consists of 4 very energetic and edgy tracks with lo-fi and industrial textures, broken beats and provocative synth lines. The result illustrates the contrast between the struggle of external conditions and the inner peace generated by music and artistic expression.

CMRK is a young forthcoming techno music producer and dj from Lithuania, who started experimenting with electronic music genres in his late teenage years. Finding inspiration in the industrial feel of the club’s atmosphere, CRMK keeps constantly searching and developing his own sound approach. On his journey CMRK was already supported by DJ Ogi, Arweenn, Aahan, D.Dan and was performing at events involving stars such as Klangkuenstler, Vendex, Lee Ann Roberts to name a few. CMRK „Poisoning“ EP will be released soon on on our sub-label @gars-records. A perfect occasion to compile and expose the next REBELCASE episode.

Umwelt knows his craft. From his no-nonsense acid-drenched electro assaults to his more thought-provoking works, the Frenchman can shred speakers as well as soothe souls. These two sides of the New Flesh boss’ sound combine as he returns to Shipwrec with the ﬁve tracks of "Collapsar". Worlds collide in the epic “Galactic Empire.” Beats are lashed with punishing acid rinses as a bold cinematic backdrop takes form. “Collapsar” maintains the grandeur, broad expansive chords stretching above a plain of tight percussion. A frigid stuttering synthline introduces “Reﬂectivity”, a line that breaks into a horizon searching melody punctuated by crisp rhythms and arcing keys. The breadth and depth achieved across the EP is staggering, Umwelt balancing danceﬂoor electro with introspection. This immersive quality comes to the fore in the sweeping soundtrack of “Redemption Ark.” That calm is cracked wide open with the frenetic ﬁnale. “Day Zero” incises from the outset, drums cutting into bulwark of bass before a barrage of keys attack. Exemplary from a master.
