Today's element is water. I haven't had enought time to compose this theme so I have focused in the composition instead of the sound mixing. 

Anyway, enjoy this travel this trip across the seabed.

I'll confess - today's theme is the real reason I jumped on the challenge this month 😂. This one is for the prompt "Forged in Steel," and it is, without a doubt, the heaviest piece of music I've written to date. 

I wanted to make something the same vein as Mick Gordon's stuff from DOOM, so I started by pitch shifting the 8 string into Double Drop D (oof) and riffing from there. After that I worked in the drum and bass parts, layered a crunchy synth over the guitar, and added some noisy stuff. I'm not thrilled with the risers I came up with (honestly had no idea what I was doing)and the drums could use some work, but overall I'm really happy with this one.
