VALE returns to its origins with the Autism Awareness fundraiser compilation Awareness Vol. II. This Bandcamp driven charity release was available in full on World Autism Awareness Day. All proceeds were donated to the charity, Music for Autism. The artists and label are honored to dedicate our time and effort to the community and improving the lives of others.

To be frank for a moment, this ‘Funny Bunny’ is not to be scoffed at.  A fierce technician here who reassembles industrialized chaos into a pleasantly noisey assault on our senses.  Rapid breakbeat belter rhythms accented by clear clanging drums and wobbling subs encapsulate the dancefloor, punctuated by a distorted vocals howling scream piercing through the static matrix of cyberspace.  A delightfully destructive tune that revels in its own absurdity.

Instrumentality came from a rewrite of an older demo. I felt there was more to experiment within the form of the track. Neon Genesis Evangelion reimagines the last judgment as a reset for all of humanity - as all were merged into one soul, one must find their own reason to live on in order to break free. Taking inspiration from the 'everything all at once' depiction of Instrumentality, this track was a brute reconstruction of the original demo, as it seemed to claw its way back into existence.

'Sliga’ is a ferocious flurry of thick textures and captivating drum work infused with the vision of Moytra; an emerging underground talent creating earthquakes within the drum and bass scene. Beginning with a foreboding intro, small bursts of static generates the build before exploding into a gnarly tech roller. The assault of bass patches provide a low-end foundation for all the subtle percussive elements; shakers, tics and tack kick drums, to be heard, pausing intermittently for each sound to have its highest impact.
