CHIVVY creates a large and evocative soundscape with atmospheric guitars, synths and dreamy vocals. The music is often compared to bands such as Warpaint, Beach House, Cocteau Twins and Massive Attack. Last year they released their debut album which was praised by both Swedish and international press and received, among other things, 5 stars by GAFFA and was classified as one of Sweden's best albums of 2021 by HYMN. In 2022, CHIVVY was nominated for the GAFFA prize and the Manifest Awards.

After becoming a duo they are now working on new songs. The first single 'Kiddo', from the coming EP, is a song about when new love is too good to be true. And the all consuming infatuation maybe takes place in your head rather than in reality. The music, which was recorded and co-produced by Daniel 'Fagge' Fagerström (Viagra Boys, Jenny Wilson, Nina Kinert etc), is still as grand and dreamy as before.

Tenfalk's first single release under his own name. Previously, we have heard his strong voice in acts such as Sad Bliss and Falkman. The song is called 'Los Angeles' and as the title suggests, Tenfalk sings about angels but also about illness and saying goodbye to loved ones. However, it all ends hopeful, bright and beautiful (and yes, the Christmas spirit is there too).

'From The Bones of The Dead' is the last single taken off Swedish darkwave queen Memoria's coming second album 'From The Bones'. 'From The Bones of The Dead' is inspired by 'Gretel and Hansel' and especially the Oz Perkins film from 2020 whose esthetic, photo and music floored Tess completely. The title comes from the beckoning call of the witch, luring Hansel into death. It's a song about black magic and darkness tempting you into the depravity.

'16' is a reconciliation with a previous relationship. The song was developed over 6 years, in tune with the relationship. It describes both the despairing feeling of impossible love, about when the relationship is better in thought than in reality, and about how the lack of love can make someone heartless.

Viola Travels is Camilla Karlsson's (of 'It's For Us') solo project. She has been playing in bands for ages now and still really loves it and want to continue to do so. But since she left Stockholm for Dalarna.. A lot of things changed.. She changed.. So she needed to find new ways to express and challenge herself creatively as well. The result is her "solo" debut EP 'Bloodline' as Viola Travels and 'Blonde Redhead' is the first single off the coming EP.

Viola Travels is the solo project of Camilla Karlsson (of 'It's For Us'), originally from Stockholm, now living in a small village in Ludvika, Dalarna. She has been a part of the Swedish music scene for many years, mainly fronting post-punk band ’It’s For Us’. Now she has announced her solo debut EP ’Bloodline’. A new chapter for her as a songwriter, musician and artist. Four delicate indie pop songs about dealing with the difficulties in life while still being amazed by its beauty. The first single ’Fun' was written when Camilla was on maternity leave with her first child. She had recently moved to a new city where she knew no one and the pandemic was ongoing. Feeling very alone, isolated, confused and wondered, "How the hell did this happen?".
