Clandestina - Le Meraviglie del Duemila

Chiara’s passion for music starts at a very early age, when music was like a hidden world she could get lost into, but also a tool to go back to reality with renewed inspiration. She started DJing in Chill Out stages of Psytrance parties in the early 2000s, and later she evolved into “Clandestina”, with a sound closer to the eclectic and multiethnic downtempo she discovers in Berlin. In 2010 she moves to Portugal where she supports the beginning of the Ectstatic Dance movement and plays for some of its earliest Lisbon events. Since then she has played at Boom Festival (where she also works as the curator of the cultural area), at the famous Oakland Ecstatic Dance in California and as resident DJ at the infamous “Pizza Party” in the Algarve, Portugal, while also enjoying playing in smaller parties whenever possible. Her style is both refined and laidback, blending genres and moods with that extra touch of playfulness that can surprise and seduce anyone passing in front of the speakers…

Chiara si immerge nella musica fin da piccola, come rifugio dalla realta' ma anche come strumento per affrontare la realta' nelle sue sfaccettature chiaroscure. Inizia a suonare come DJ chill out nelle feste psytrance per poi evolvere come "Clandestina" con un suono piu' vicino alla downtempo eclettica e multietnica che scopre a Berlino. Dal 2010 si trasferisce in Portogallo dove inizia a suonare fin dai primi eventi di Ecstatic Dance a Lisbona. It was such an honour to share my music medicine for my dear friends and family in the most magical of places that we have been calling home for the last 4 months ~ The Crystal Castle. ✨💎

This set was completely improvised in the moment... trusting the flow and the energy that wanted to come through. Also, the recording has been left raw and un-edited. I'm still learning a lot, and I'm happy to share the (sometimes messy) process.
