Savage Sessions proudly presents an artist that has been a true element of our inspiration. His production and mixes have undoubtedly inspired an entire community of our sub genre enthusiasts. A very low profile powerhouse, Andrew is extremely popular as 'Tekra' pushing boundaries in the wold of Techno. We are absolutely sure you will be gobsmacked by this mix he has created for us!

Bio: Tekra is a U.K based Techno DJ/Producer with the ability to create an infusion of Techno styles comprised of harmonic and atmospheric sounds with dark and industrial noise, capturing the imagination of his listeners with his own auditory signature.

Circular Limited, DVNTT, Lett Records, Northallsen Records, RCR Limited and Warok Music are labels that boasts his creations.

Tekra made his Berlin debut in March 2019 at the was prestigious and now extinct Arena Club and was one of the last artists to perform there for Strictly Forbidden.
His latest trip saw him meet with Barcelona’s underground project Bahn.

We are really glad to have discovered this new and very talented producer, absolutely the first release for Luca de Lucia where it really starts on the right foot. This young guy from Italy, delivered for us two massive tracks, full of ethereal and hypnotic sounds. Remedy remix was entrusted to Sarcasmo from Spain, a name that starts to assert itself with his deep and melodic style.

«Since I was little, I’ve been immersed in the culture of the Mexican Aztecs and Mayas. So, logically, I’m attracted to magic and spells. Mixing both in my music is the perfect combination of my tastes and my roots». Seen from Europe, Iñigo Vontier’s assertion can seem puzzling, but from the point of view of a Guadalajaran DJ-producer, this blending of genres makes all sorts of sense, expressing the dreams of peoples steeped in mystique, whose rites have provided refuge and hope through generations.
As soon as the needle hits Aluxes («it’s the name of forest spirits, and it’s pronounced ‘aloo-chess’,» according to Iñigo) a channel to occult forces does seem to open up. The EP’s title track, with its sparse, unfathomable voices and its bouncing, metered rhythm, is like a spell operating its serene power over the listener.
The spirits are at time tricksters: the facetious Patito and its stubborn metallic rhythm brings back Vontier’s precious dark disco essence, which mellows out what would be more overly-serious Western electronic music: «I’m proud to help the Mexican Dance Music scene make its international mark, along with Rebolledo and others. My personal contribution, along with my role as a label head, is to bring this sound to the world. Musically speaking, that means that our productions are increasingly influenced by Latino – and sometimes Arabic – sounds, which makes them more diverse and eclectic».
Detlef Weinrich’s, a member of post-rock band Kreidler and a resident of Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, tasks his Tolouse Low Trax side project with elevating Macaco to the temporal dimension of a fevered nightclub, with a remix that is lightyears from weekender minimal techno, and closer to Dopplereffekt. Finally, with its haunting incantations and ritualistic percussion, Temazcal brings the EPs ritual to a close. The spellbinding suite, with a musicality and an originality which is all too rare on the electronic scene, prompts the artist to muse: «perhaps dance music sometimes lacks magic, but I’m sure there’s many dancefloors where we can feel it».
Leave it to DJ, producer and occasional wizard Iñigo Vontier to make that happen.

Acid Pauli - BLD Remixes B 

Acid Pauli’s album BLD dropped last year and was a superb reminder of Martin Gretschmann’s unique place within the electronic music.
Breathing musicality and adventurousness into everything that he does, the album covered a number of moods and emotions, from dystopian carnivalesque vibes to moments of high intensity, through to deep melancholia and synth laden ambience.

Following on from the “A” remix package, “B” brings another huge selection of producers into the fray to reinterpret the originals.

First up, Hamburg hero Stimming works over 'Amadou' - flipping the original, into a techy bomb. A thick kick underpins a shuffling, off kilter rhythm and beautifully treated melodics. Stimming’s feel for gently pushing the dancefloor into new places shines through.

'René' is reworked by Roman Flügel, the Ongaku/Klang/Playhouse boss whose influence on the European electronic music scene has been immense. Always willing to experiment, 'René' is the perfect canvas - arpeggiated blips and beeps echo primitive electronic explorations by the likes of Francis Bebey, and a huge subby kick drum take this track into space.

Axel Boman sets to work on 'Jeanne', locking into his signature groovy, tribal approach to working the dancefloor. The Swedish producer adds dubby elements, an irresistible percussion track and disruptive, random sounds to the thick, heady mix.

Dutch wunderkind Satori tackles 'Jorge' - twisting the original into a psychedelic groover that finds room for backwards vocals, marimba-like melodies, fat basslines and shuffling breakbeats.

Lastly, label co-founder Nico Stojan remixes 'Verbos', and finds a way to twist it into an energetic yet deep dancefloor burner.

Furka had become the destination of choice for many a man in the know, capitalism was king here and the money poured from the pockets of the hard working people into the hands of the greedy. The warehouse sat on the outskirts of town and promised worldly "essentials" and the latest trends, it was all manufactured crap but they still bought the life out of it. 

E&A Rueger feature on a new compilation from Eclect Rec, the release is a wild assortment of experimental electronics. The dancefloor remains the underlying focus throughout but this is far from a dance album.

Established in 2016 as a vinyl and digital label, No Way Records was born with no conditioning and no model to emulate, but a singular idea informed by the white arrow of the logo spearheading the ideology of the label. This is not a Techno label. This is music informed by the synthesised soundscapes of electronic traditions and transmitted on the pulse of a contemporary dance floor.  Between the perfunctory roots of Techno to the hedonistic heights of melodic electronica, No Way thrives. Music conceived in the imagined alternative narratives of Sci-Fi and Horror fiction, transmogrify in the beat of a primordial rhythm.
