Rico is - amongst many other things - a trained pianist, a self-trained guitarist, a drummer, a musicologist, a Zappa enthusiast, a struggler, a neurotic, a martyr of art and, most-notably: A genuine, perpetually driven music producer! Gregor has been a fan of Rico´s music for years, and - being blown off his socks by his recently released full length album Obi Thine Xi - had to ask Rico for some original music to be released on Break New Soil. Et voila: „Afar“ landed in our mailbox like a beacon of light in these dark times for club culture! On top of the three outstanding original tracks, we couldn´t be happier to have Alexander Kowalski working his magic on „Axioms". Once again, Alexander delivered an example to underline his status of being one of the most in-demand producers in the realm of modern electronic music! To round things off we are stoked to present a full-on peaktime rework of „Afar“ by the duo of the moment that is Joyhauser! We believe we have quite the package for you to enjoy!

@Kiantek is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Berlin, Germany, introduced to music since early ages. since then he is learning and applying modern techniques to his production on a regular basis in order to push the boundaries of electronic music. He has been producing melodic tracks in genres of down tempo to techno, improvising signature melodies on his tracks. His aim is to build tension and release and provide musicality to audience, creating ideas and letting them grow to dream beyond normal experiences on dance floor.

This year Kiantek joins Deed Music with a compelling single track called Resonance, an expressive and dynamic melodic house & techno tune with full spectrum of colours! Heavy yet smooth low end creates a solid for the ongoing progression filled with interesting modulations crafted by the hands of the artist.
