I fell in love with club culture at the ripe age of 14 when I went to my first all night rave, a couple of years later I bought my first set of turntables and started my journey of dj'ing, I taught myself to beat match and mix by playing 2 the same tracks and it progressed from there. When I went to clubs I'd spend hours watching the djs and how they worked the equipment. I grew up in the trance era and some of my heroes where Marco V, Oakenfold, PVD, Sasha & Digweed etc, for the last 5 years I have been seriously interested in the Progressive House movement and I also have a love for Psytrance, I've played in venues and clubs all over the UK and I've been a resident dj on Subcode.club for 2 years now. I've also done many podcast mixes for labels such as Droid9, Big Bells Digital, Pangea Recordings, Vesta Records who i work for and more. The guest mix in the second hour is by _filres_, a DJ/Producer from Cologne in Germany. In his mixes the kicks have an air of unagitated coolness but there’s always a bouncy lightness underneath leaving space for vocals, melodies and special effects. He’s played in clubs like Butan & RedCatLounge and has also DJ’d at many underground raves. He has his own podcast, MonoTon, on his Soundcloud page.
