Up-and coming duo Wolf Ear & Fassbender are delivering yet another fruit of their collaboration with new record 'The Glass Mountain'. Out on Strange Town Recordings, the piece is a windy ode full of subtle textures and warm pianos. The simple yet uplifting pattern of the heavy bass harmonizes with sporadic melodies throughout, accompanied by a stabby synth marking a containment in energy that's unleashed in the drop.

A heavier take on the track is delivered next by Israeli-based producer Matan Caspi, making its first appearance on Strange Town Recordings. On his remix, the rolling bass is complemented by a magnetizing background melody and a light percussion that compliments the groove. Owner of his very own 'Outta Limits Recordings' along with fellow veteran Stan Kolev, he sprinkles lush melodies during the full seven minutes of the song. On the main breakdown, a fuzzy synth that has nothing to envy to the 80s' dirtiest guitars builds tension whilst the arrangement progressively hatches back open.

We are very excited to welcome a very famous and talented Egyptian artist on our label, who deliverers 3 outstanding melodic house & techno tracks.

Mohasseb began his music career in the early 2000s and is one of Cairo Jazz Club's main headliners where he has been playing well over a decade. In addition to playing in Pacha Sharm El Sheikh, he has played in Family and Friends and Theatre of Dreams; two of Egypt's biggest festivals. With his fresh take on melodic techno beats, Mohasseb kicked off his international career in Greece in 2015 leading to a series of gigs around the world. His bio includes playing alongside international DJs Adriatique, Denis Horvat, Adana Twins, Claptone, Adam Port and Monolink- to name a few.

For us he made a strong 3 track EP called Walls, that incorporates organic sounds, intriguing synth progressions, grooving basslines, very nice build ups and and melodies.

This EP is a full melodic journey with each song standing out by itself.

The talented French artists both have a discography that goes back to the '90s. Kiko a veteran of 500+releases, highlighted by his 1998 cut 'World Cup' that was continued a minor techno classic at the time.He's gone through many sonic incarnations since then and is currently turning heads with superbproduction on labels including Diynamic and Afterlife. POPOF, meanwhile, is a genre flexitarian, just asadept at releasing on Cocoon and Truesoul as he is Hot Creations, and now of course - Watergate Records.
'Night Sky' is a big, bright dancefloor pummeller, made for peak-time moments and driven by a stirringchord sequence. 'Love Triangle' is a shimmering nu disco beauty, propelled by a sharp tech underbelly.Fresh from her much-loved 'Raver Girl' EP, Yulia Niko contributes a slick re-rub of the title track, retainingthe original's glistening melodic lead, while giving it a punchier bottom end. Rounding out the packagestrongly, rising UK duo Mia Mendi give 'Love Triangle' the remix touch, re-fashioning it into a sublimebreakbeat gem made for early morning on the Waterfloor.

The latest release from Tash's Movement Limited welcomes Nikko.Z to the label for his debut single. As one of Movement Recordings core contributors early on, the Greek producer made his label debut in 2012 with a remix of 'Sandcastles' by Yves Eaux and Arnold from Mumbai. Well received, it set the course for Nikko to deliver nine originals and five remixes over the next six years, closing out that run with a thrilling rendition of 'No Sleep' by Marc De Pulse which landed in June of 2018. Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Antrim's Or Two Strangers and Madloch's Sound Avenue have all played host to Nikko's groovy progressive vision over the course of his near two decade long career, with his own flagship imprint Dopamine Music being a primary home of late. Having gotten the year underway with a remix for SLC-Music, Nikko now makes his debut on Movement's Limited division with 'Anatole', alongside remixes from Sebastian Sellares and HAEN.

The original mix is an apt barometer of where Nikko's headspace is at, with heartfelt themes descending over a bed of warm wavy grooves and retro rhythms. Glowing overlays add depth and emotion across the first act, as percolating arps open up, guiding the journey into a trance-inducing interlude, before breaking off into a rush of flickering percussive arrangements and vibrant melodies for a colourful finale.
