Two stories, shared by two voices - casked together by two sounds. Tayir’s debut EP on Equanimity blends together the day and night, encapsulated by a duality of light and dark.

Embodied with quirky sounds and dissected melodies, the Berlin duo merge together a selection of abstract feels, coolly unified in its electronic stance.

Daylight comes humorous as ‘Angry Customer’: the melody dawns and blossoms amongst the hi-hats and whimsical harmonics and paves the way to the angry voice - expressive vocabulary we’ve certainly felt at least once in our lives; a lighter heart is carried throughout with the big, bouncy bassline straight to the end.

Shooting straight to ‘The Dark Side’, we take a deeper turn with the harder kicks, slicker scratches and a harmony which canvases from the bottom to the top and all over again, as the vocals revel in admitting ‘at night I do crazy things’. An anecdote to all ourselves as we slip from the sun into the shadows.

Nightcolours begin 2023 with bang courtesy of Greek producer Hacobb who makes his second appearance on the label with the Hyacinth EP.

Opening proceedings is Eos Chasma a deep and driving affair stuffed full of distorted synths, snarling bass and rattling percussion. It’s moody, mean and magnificent!

Next we have Hyacinth, this little gem is packed to the brim with smiles. The pulsing bassline, shimmering vocals and urgent drums drive this one ever onwards towards melodic goodness.

Orizondas is up next and it’s a heavy hitting monster with huge drums and the melodic line to match.
Taking on remix duties is Hungarian producer Yöurr who delivers a stunning rework stripping things back and ratcheting up the tension.

Milenar - millennium: a splash into the new age of modern technology, musically speaking. Keith Holland makes his mark with this four-track EP, where he toys with an array of synthesized sounds and digital snags - an EP engineered for the electronic age.

Closing track ‘Dinastia’ showcases everything learnt beforehand for the final stand, whilst taking us back to the EPs roots with a sprinkle of flitting eloquence. Kicking up a storm with its misty, jagged bassline, high harmonic chords ride upon the technological waves, searching for their soul - sailing to a voyage of the curious mind, right until the end. Its title track embodies all things mechanical: sonic soundwaves drive along the senses, with an accession of data glitches rising into the cloud, as the monologued structure helps pin at least some stability to normality.

We have reserved the first premiere of the year by Save For After Midnight label bosses Buba and Pim Secle on a new series from which we have high expectations.
"Brk u Brk series" is an idea that we conceived as a kind of challenge, in an artistic way not in a competitive, to have a single track from 2 different producers with similar tastes on one album. So, Buba has "Ples" and Pim Secle "Roboti i Gljive".

Producer and label owner, Marc Martinez Nadal better known as AFFKT has released on his own project Sincopat. Following in the footsteps of previous releases, 'Unchained' is a 4 track EP that encapsulates the essence of avant-garde electronic music and inspired by the arrival of his first born.
Flowing from one track into another, blending the world of indie dance to electronica, they each tell a unique story. Yet each track intertwines with common elements to create a unifying project. ‘We are Shifting’ features a godly vocal sample from Sutja Gutierrez that compliments the utopian atmosphere of this driving groove. 'Bsoul' has shimmering pads with euphoric build ups, 'Huarache' characterised by a complex bass with acid laced synths and 'Dust' a pulsating groove with a futuristic quality.
