This cover, while at heart was made out of love for Woostern, is also a tribute to the original composer. I only found out halfway into making it about what happened, so I figured I’d leave a message— even if the original composer may never see it.

Thank you. 
You have been a wonderful member of this community, regardless of how truly little you felt in it. As much as you wish to be forgotten, there will be people out there who love you and your work, and people who have been inspired to even continue down the path to success that they’ve been working towards thanks to you and your efforts. You might not believe it, but you matter so, so much more than you believe. You do not have to return, but know that your memory, whether big or small, will live on in this community.

And thank you.. for inspiring me to continue working on music. I was always a fan of your work, and knowing you followed the things I’ve made and the work I’ve put out there, it encouraged me to keep going and try different things.

Monsters have suffered enough from her neglect.

Seven human souls, and the barrier can be broken.
SOULS can't be remade using science, and with this dump of a facility, it'd be harder to try.

LOG #3:
Taking monster SOUL is risky.
It's hard to pull off, and even harder to maintain.
Not only that, but the SOUL's host would be instantly destroyed.
But what if...
What if monsters could come back even after death?

LOG #4:
Strange how the queen's never inspected her own home.
I found tapes. Dusty old ones...
I don't think she's listened to them.
Big mistake.

LOG #5:
Bingo.
It is in the nature of some humans to possess an ability that makes them persist.
The will to be undying, their hearts beating with the power to steer fate.
I'm calling this power...

LOG #6:
I've rallied up some of the ROYAL GUARD members who are falling down.
I told them I'll be making them stronger for combat against possible humans.
They all came in today, and I've put them in their respective rooms.
I feel like a military captain.

LOG #7:
I'll need to inject their bodies with DT.
After their soul starts to falter, that's when I'll strike.
But after thinking for a while, I wondered...
What if I repeated this process with a HUMAN corpse instead of a monster one?

LOG #9:
Everything seemed to be working. They were all injected with the serum.
Although it didn't work as I expected it to.
Their souls cracked and shattered, but they didn't turn into dust.
Their corpses are in the rooms, still. 

LOG #12: 
I need to brute force this.
If humans can persist after death, then monsters should too.
I don't care anymore. 
I'm...
I'm going to inject them all again.
We will be undying.

LOG #13: 
The guards woke up.
They're walking around, patrolling the place.
They're acting as if nothing happened.
Are they..?

LOG #15:
I was going to send them all back to duty, but...
They're not responding to me.
It's like they're just spirits...
I tried to take off the helmet off one of them but...
Inside, it was just melted nonsense.
What have I done..? 

LOG #16:
They've been searching for humans all day.
They're like machines.
Their only purpose was to capture and destroy...
And now they're acting on it.

They've started to follow non-existent orders.
Scarily linear ones.

i made some progress! there's a lot more to this game than i thought there was.
i messed up the first time around, i guess... i got a choice between waking up and staying asleep, and i chose to wake up. that's when it gave me the text about "not failing again"... i wasn't really paying attention. when i tried again and chose to stay asleep, we woke up in the dark world! i got a proper screenshot of it this time, i got a nice little work around. makes the game freeze up like crazy though

anyway, not a lot happened here. its basically just a walking simulator, occasional text from offscreen like before. but the music's kinda ... calm? especially compared to the original cliffs. this and the dialog made me think it was ... more of an errand than an adventure, like this is normal. i'm not sure. noelle ends up waking back up though! so i think it's just, like, a weird dream segment thing. the dialog was completely nonsensical, i still can't make heads or tails of it at all! didn't bother writing anything down from it, since it wasn't very helpful anyway. regrettably i did get stuck on the only puzzle in the entire area.

there's this room that loops forever- a plus-shaped room, with four directions. i didn't realize at the time, but you're supposed to listen to the music. it gets quiter when you're going the wrong way, and louder when you're going the right way. when i got to the end, she just... gets woken up by carol?

anyway, im still making my way through it all, but a bunch of people got super interested in the last post, so i wanted to keep people updated. sorry again about the link :[ i know its super cliche but it's just ... gone? i've looked everywhere, but i have no idea where it went. and i can't even remember who it said made the game, so i can't look that up and find it, either. if you guys know any way i could check maybe through the files, that'd be cool, just... let me know...
