SimpLeton

Consists of the main theme, Overture and music for the constellation Orion. Then it goes through 3 different sections, each representing the three bright stars Zeta (Alnitak), Epsilon (Alnilam), and Delta (Mintaka). The final section explores there falling out of friendship, warring and subsequently moving apart from each other eventually making up Orion's Belt. all themes, arrangements by Michael Koly

I am a Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer and Audio Engineer located in the GTA (Toronto) who has been working with media productions in Film, Television, Animation, Internet and Video Games.

Currently, I am working on a number of projects in the Electronic, Experimental and Progressive music veins. I am the top Honours Graduate of the Harris Institute of the Arts in Audio Production with a 93.95% average and just recently received the 1st Jack Richardson Award and 2 other scholarships from the Canadian Music Publishers Assoc. and Harris Inst. Teachers. Prior to that I was at Capital C Communications as an Interactive Creative Director, Audio Specialist and Composer and Animator from 2004 - 2008 working on music and soundscapes with companies like Gillette, Dove, Nissan, Doritos, Gatorade, Smirnoff and SCENE. 

Add in a 4 year stint from 2001 in the News and Current Affairs department at the CBC were I was Producing, Technical Directing and Composing music for a wide range of interactive web properties, 
5 years with Snap Media - Nelvana (Franklin the Turtle, When Quads Go Bad, etc.), TD Bank, Teletoon (Edgy-Wedgy 1 & 2 video games) and a number of shows for T. F. Ontario (french T.V.O.). 

A number of independent releases with other director's/videographers have rounded out the rest of my experience, most notable Hannah and Leonard - 2010 which was an indie film entered into the LG Film Festival of that year.

I am open to all and any productions that are currently in need of score music/ atmospheres/ sfx, etc.. I am easy to work with, punctual and work well to picture. Feel free to contact me about any projects that you may be involved in.
