Returning in time for what is the first 'normal' summer for many of us, Tomi & Kesh's NoZzo Music imprint follows an impressive release from the label heads with the latest instalment from their always entertaining 'The NoZzo's' compilation series.

Opening the release, DJ Entwan's percussive-focused roller 'Back Again' brings the terrace vibes with potent low-frequency drive and subtly rising melodies. Franz Costa's 'Proper Propaganda' has a spring in its step with stripped-back drums and
rumbling sub-bass cut that through a bed of crisp percussive layers and attention-grabbing vocal.

Gustaff's 'Persianikas' drives the release back into the realm of uptempo rolling Tech with more high-energy instrumental flair, bright melodies and sultry vocals from end to end whilst Horo's 'The Groovy' follows nicely with Jazz-laced flavours mixed into a gritty combination of racy rhythms and engaging musicality.

'Just Stop' sees Kristofferson deliver an elegantly dreamy cut with hearty drum grooves, rattling percussive momentum and reverberating hypnotic layers from the outset. Lautaro Bidegain follows with 'Dancers', combining swaying rhythms and rolling sub-bass alongside sensual vocals, waves of climactic builds and atmospheric suspense.

Mad&Meis' 'Vanguard' charms you with shuffling hats and fizzing shakers alongside an intriguing spoken vocal hook supplemented by bright synths, pads and tones that add a subtle summertime feel. Matt Arnold's 'Break It Down' features an impressive display of his increasingly-popular style of simplistic rolling Tech grooves complemented by catchy basslines and delicate melodies with cadent vocal chops and engaging elements from start to finish.

Nacho Scoppa's 'Hood Style' pumps the gas as we come towards the end of the release. Blistering rhythms and heavyset kick drums bounce off pulsating sub-bass whilst the track glides through peaks and troughs alongside vox chops, creative fills and instrumental flair. Shakti's 'Bounce' brings the release to a quintessentially groovy end, combining a prominent bassline with punchy drum work and endless layers of rippling percs. Beyond this, rising melodies and filtered vocals swirl away into several ultimately enjoyable and impactive drops.

Gustaff - Persianikas (Original Mix)

Tomi & Kesh's NoZzo Music returns with another emphatic release, inviting MartinoResi, Chris Brooks & Martin Lancina to take the reins as they roll out two upbeat original cuts accompanied by a remix from Dutch artist Secnd.

'Come On' opens the release with racy drum grooves and rippling percussive elements alongside a huge rhythmic sub, tribal melodies and nostalgic vocals to carve out an energetic peak-time roller.

Secnd's remix of the title cut comes next, bringing a deepened spin on the original with an emphasis on endless layers of instrumental movement. Building around a steady flow of danceable moments and subtle harmonics, it's an undeniably groove-laden terrace track with a dancefloor focus.

'Voce' rounds off the release, delivering stripped-back flavours and rambunctious rhythms from the outset. Orbiting another rich sub-bassline, its sea of percussive flair and punchy kicks glide alongside an array of pads, synths and soulful vocal licks to carve out a pleasantly catchy roller.

Argentinian Jay De Lys becomes the third artist to release on Jamie Jones’ newly-minted Paradise Music  imprint, unveiling two new tracks across his new EP ‘Tired Of Loving’. 

Based in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires, Jay De Lys is a name that has been appearing more frequently  across the globe following a breakout series of releases on the likes of Nic Fanciulli’s Saved, Lee Foss’ Repopulate  Mars, Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Chus & Ceballos’ Stereo Productions. With heavy support from artists  such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Joseph Capriati, alongside appearances across Europe, North America and  beyond, early May sees De Lys turn in a landmark release within his young and promising career as he joins Jamie  Jones’ newly-launched Paradise Music for the release of ‘Tired Of Loving’. 

“I was in Barcelona for my European tour with just my headphones when I started working on this EP. I felt  that the simplicity of my studio setup gave me another perspective and workflow, making me go for more  raw and organic stuff combined with my usual Latin, percussion-focused style. I’m so happy with the  result. For me, these ‘Tired of Loving’ & ‘One Bad Bix’ tracks meant showcasing my disco/housey  influences with a modern touch.” - Jay De Lys.  

Opening the EP, title cut ‘Tired Of Loving’ is a rolling and vibrant production merging crisp rolling drums with a  funky core bassline and soulful vocals to showcase a track built for the Paradise terrace. On the flip, ‘One Bad Bix’  again dives into a carefully woven web of intricate percussion grooves, before the silky smooth melodies emerge  from deep within the mix alongside more hooky vocal samples to shape things up nicely.

Late last summer, one track dominated the sets of Marco Carola at Music On and beyond. That track was Charles Pierre's 'Moonlight To Sunrise' and we are delighted to deliver to you this masterpiece that's backed with a heavyweight remix from super producer Yousef and Dutch groove maestro Rob Stillekens.

Lead track 'Moonlight To Sunrise' is a unique slice of modern day house music with its grooving, funk laden intro and atmospheric percussion droplets, bouncing around the 70s-esque filtered bassline. Merge this with Charles' own special vocal delivery and what you have here will be one of this year's stand-out tracks.

The first of two sublime remixes comes from Liverpool's legendary DJ/Producer Yousef. Here Yos rips the storybook up and transforms the original into a peak time banger, with elasticated rises that utilise Charles' vocal delivery around a crescendo of uplifts and hedonistic rhythms that, on the drop, explode with typical Yousef brilliance. This one will go beyond the big rooms to festival stages. We are sure of that.

Next up, Dutch producer Rob Stillekens shows why he's on the radar of the big labels by delivering a punchy, groove-based remix that perfectly fits itself around the vocal with its driving bass lead and cleverly placed drops and rises. A superb addition to the package from Rob.

Closing out the EP, Charles drops 'Feel This Way', a proper party starter of a track with its Disco edges and filtered loops, combining in harmony with the feel good vibe and almost spoken word vocal. A perfect closer for what will be one of the standout EP's at this year's MMW and beyond.

Franky Rizardo takes the reigns on an outstanding Remix of Charles Pierre's 'Moonlight To Sunrise'. Late last summer, we sent out the Original to a selected handful of DJ's. Franky was one of those who received it, and it quickly became his go-to track for those big moments. 

We were absolutely delighted when he reached out and asked for the parts to put his twist on the incredible Original. 

Now, after it being one of the most sought after remixes on the scene, we deliver it to you in time for those summer sessions.

Franky sprinkles his own unique soundscapes to the mix, taking it a more house feel but retaining the essence of the original with the vocals playing a big part. It's good that Marco has been closing his sets with it!
