Next on Black Seven Music, Barcelona based Mushroom Smile Records label boss Gianni Firmaio makes his Black Seven debut with a two-track EP - including a remix from label regular Cosmin Horatiu.

With releases on Elrow Music,Viva Limited, RIM, 303Lovers, Deeperfect, Lapsus, Be One, Roush and more, Mushroom Smile Records frontman Gianni Firmaio is a commendable and established name within the world of Tech House. His latest work comes in the form of two hot and ready originals, coupled under the tiles of his new EP - Like A Fool. Joining Gianni (following his ‘Yeyo’ EP earlier this year), Cosmin Horatiu delivers an impressive remix to the a-side title track.

Opening the release, ‘Like A Fool’ is a sturdy concoction of heavy elements and groove-forming components. Thudding kicks meet hollowed-out rhythmic sub-bass with a catchy melody, whilst percussive factors ripple in and out of each other to create a rolling cadence. Offbeat fills and sharp synth stabs add the final flavours to this impressively potent terrace number.

Cosmin Hoaratiu follows with his remix of the title track, taking it underground and stripping it right back. Huge bassline roars underneath pulsing synths and the sizzle of rhythm between its drum work, whilst eerie pads and a warped soulful vocal add character.

Firmaio finishes with ‘We Love This Music’. Disco-inspired and fast-paced tech-house with blistering energy, it’s an upbeat roller with more heavyweight elements stacked up to the brim. Electrifying drops and rumbling low-frequencies ebb and flow from end to end of this peak time heater.

Label bosses Tomi & Kesh return alongside Alessandro Diruggiero for a freshly squeezed triple-track EP - Grood Taste.

Whilst they continue to build their reputation on a global scale, NoZzo Music frontmen Tomi&Kesh are back on home soil with their latest release as they enlist the collaboration of the ever-talented Alessandro Diruggiero for 'Grood Taste'.

The EP opens on the title track 'Grood Taste', delving straight into an addictively danceable bed of rolling drums and rhythmic sub-bass. Laced with endless layers of percussive flair, the track's subtly rising melodies continue to build alongside an arrangement of vox shots and creative fills before reaching a peak and diving deep into the groove once more.

'Drum Attack' comes next, bringing an air of peak-time terrace vibes from the outset. Percussive-led Tech House at its finest, building around a simple yet catchy sub-bass melody and a flurry of punchy kicks, sizzling hat sequences and subtle splashes of melody. Another flowing wave of deep choruses and rising lead segments make this a wave you never want to get off.

The release closes on 'Purple Haze', completing a trio of stripped-back rollers with a slightly roughened feel. Summertime synths bubble up through a bed of rambunctious drums & percussion whilst pulsating sub-bass notes descend right into the base of your feet. Tomi & Kesh's NoZzo Music marks its next release with returning Costa Rican artist Newball and his 'Purple Abu' EP.

On an impressive run of form in 2022, NoZzo Music returns with its twenfirst release, welcoming back Costa Rican talent Newball with two brand-new original cuts and a remix from DJ Dep on 'To Beat Up'.

Kicking things off, the title cut 'Purple Abu' jumps straight into that rolling signature NoZzo vibe with endless layers of crisp percussion, punchy kicks and a swinging sub-bass melody. Adding to its core with bright splashes of synths and creative vocal sampling with a soulful twist, its mix of subtle melodics and firm underground grooves make it an impressive terrace-ready jam.

'To Beat Up' comes next, cranking up the pace and adding more weight. Pounding drum work and choppy hat grooves bounce over the top of another fattened bassline, complemented by tonal percs and another display of cleverly layered musicality with catchy vocal presence. Label bosses Tomi & Kesh return to NoZzo Music to head up its twenty second release with a captivating four-track EP - Smash Babylon.

Kicking off the release, the title cut 'Smash Babylon' dives straight into signature NoZzo vibes from the outset. Punchy drums and an array of swinging percussive elements drive the track forwards over the top of a mammoth sub-bass melody, whilst catchy vocal chops glide in and out of the mix.

'Robot Riddim' follows up with pulsating rhythms and a festival feel. Chugging 4/4 grooves bounce alongside a rolling bassline, tonal percs and subtle melodic elements as the track flows in and out of several climatic transitions and weighty drops.

'Eazy Does It' kicks up the pace with an emphasis on racy drums and low-frequency drive. Another big-room track with hard hitting rhythms and a roaring underbelly, its upbeat Tech persona comes in hot from the outset, providing the perfect platform for its quirky vocal constructions and atmospheric breaks.

Galo Azin & Alex Marttin provide the next release on Black Seven Music, delivering their groove-laced two-track ‘Gate Away’ EP.

Our latest release plays host to a South American connection as Argentinian Galo Azin teams up with Colombian Alex Marttin for a joint debut EP on the label. Spread across two tracks, their ‘Gate Away’ EP features a wealth of prominent high-energy Tech House flavours that are extremely popular in Latin America.

The release kicks off with the title track‘Gate Away’, diving deep into weighty rolling grooves loaded with masterful percussive flair and subtle melodics. The track’s robust beat arrangement paves the way for a tide of intense peaks filled with harsh FX and vocal chops, dropping into chunky danceable segments filled with quirky fills, synth stabs and vox shots.
