Dedicated to the main artery of Madrid, Gran Vía is Evan Michael's debut EP on Moodgadget. Opening with "Get Over You," a slow burning homage to France Joli, it also churns with filtration. "Just So You Know" follows up with silky smooth sampling and lifting hi hats. The final namesake track rounds out this handful with synth washes and raw jacking Roland drums.

Turbotito & Daniel T. - Beat The Heat

Airdrop takes New York City based producer Evan Michael onboard for two new steaming-hot releases.

First up is the aptly named “Ancient Times”, Evan Michael swirls the hands of the clock backwards and dives deep into his NYC roots, blending disco elements and classic house structures with a twist of funk and serious cuto  action!
Swiss DJ and producer Crowdpleaser also contributes with an extra-cosmic dub.

Evan has previously released his productions on Moodgadget and Quarion’s Drumpoet Community.
Coming next, will be “Looking Inward” with a savagely percussive mix from the Italian king of House, Mr. Claudio Coccoluto. Stay tuned!

Evan Michael (@evvnmichael) is a name well known throughout Brooklyn's dance and indie music communities. Having previously been the marketing director at Williamsburg mainstay Cameo, and then later part of the team at Good Room, Evan has booked countless local and international artists.

Evan is also a producer, specializing in midtempo house cuts designed to sound just as good on the dancefloor as they do on a sandy shore. Over the last two years he has released music on Moodgadget and Drumpoet Community. 

Now, as we crest the June solstice, Evan returns with a three-tracker for Cascine's singles label that's both thoughtful and in control. Anchored by tracks "Slept For Weeks" and "Can't Think So" the EP perfectly captures the burnt edges of mid summer in the city.
