Dash’s influence extends across Europe, where his soulful broken beats and sound-system culture references have resonated deeply, even during times when such styles were not mainstream. With over 2,000 DJ sets under his belt, appearances in legendary clubs, and a residency at Dortmund’s world-renowned domicil, Dash has become synonymous with versatility and musical depth.

Voted one of the Top 3 German Drum and Bass DJs in 2021 and a nominee for a Lifetime Achievement Award, Dash is celebrated not only for his trailblazing approach to Drum and Bass but also for his encyclopedic knowledge of Jazz, Downbeat, World Music, Soul, and organic genres. Fedor Stepanenko aka Nphonix aka @Lowres_music (with @voltanov) aka NxF (with @fiskyoioioi) aka Benway is a multi-genre electronic music artist from Moscow, Russia.

Fedor first made his mark on the electronic world via a slew of quality dancefloor-oriented drum&bass tunes from 2006 onwards, released on some of the genres preeminent labels. But the last 10+ years has seen Nphonix switch focus away from drum&bass towards a more diverse, polyrhythmic electronic palette, as bass / beats / techno and house all started to colour newer work.
