Spring is a season defined by hope, and here in London, we’re emerging from a long winter spent indoors to the promise of this brighter season. It’s the promise of returning to warm nights spent dancing in starlight, and of embracing new and old friends after too many months spent apart, sheltering from the dark and cold.

But now the days are longer, and the city suddenly feels alive, humming away once again.

This spring, we’ve brought together new stories from talented musicians around the world for the third instalment of our Seasons series.

Each producer crafts a unique musical tapestry, often using thumping drums, beautiful synthetic melodies, and haunting vocal samples to capture the pure jubilation of spring and excitement for what lies ahead.

‘Shizouka’ is a gorgeously deep story filled with sprinkles of soft melodies, a beautiful piano breakdown and a shimmering slice of vocals throughout.

BIO:

Swedish-born, Berlin-residing producer Rûh returns to Ready Mix Records for release number 249, a deep cut titled 'Clay' which comes complete with remixes from Evren Furtuna and N'Pot.

Named after the Arabic word for 'soul', Rûh is quickly gaining international respect in the electronic scene thanks to his pristine and melodic production style. 'Clay' provides a great example of his evolving sound: atmospheric, warm and human with a rolling, effortless groove.

Turkish delight Evren Furtuna debuts on Ready Mix and provides a more intense, cinematic interpretation of 'Clay', with sweeping spacial synths that feel like ocean waves, plus subtle arpeggios and crisp, prominent drums.

Up-and-coming Argentinian producer N'Pot gives 'Clay' his own distinctive organic house treatment, creating a warm and inviting spiritual vibe.

Rûh(SE) - Clay (N'Pot Remix) [Ready Mix Records]

Noise maker, music collector and plant lover: this is N'pot, a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires who has just connected with us for the release of his new EP, 'Dioon Edule'. This affection for the flora is taken to heart by the artist, who titled the EP after a prehistoric species of tropical palm originally from Mexico.

Such organicness is transmitted through his music, of course, and the track 'Dioon Edule' has as its strength his soft percussive construction linked to reverberant melodic timbres between the nomadic and the synthetic. In addition to the original track, the Brazilian Peve was invited to create a special remix that elevates the sound facet to a more clubber place without losing the softness requested by the genre.

Following a concept, as enlightened as the musical frequencies involved in this work, is the track "Parahelio" — mention of the optical phenomenon in which the sky shows three suns — made in collaboration with fellow Argentine Nicolas Giordano and rocked by a more enigmatic and profound musical semblance.

VieL returns to Ready Mix Records for release number 260, a haunting track entitled 'Anabiosis', presented with remixes by N'Pot and Khaaron.

Greek producer VieL, aka Vasilis Lampaounas, is a veteran club and radio DJ, with releases on The Soundgarden, Tale + Tone, Hoomidaas, The Purr, Magician On Duty, as well as Ready Mix. 'Anabiosis', which refers to 'a temporary state of suspended animation or greatly reduced metabolism', layers sensitive synth melodies and whispered voices over languid yet driving drums, combining to form a compact and unassuming electronic masterpiece.

Talented music-maker N'Pot returns to Ready Mix with a warm and subtle reworking of 'Anabiosis', stretching the vision over a more expansive vista, as if switching to the movie to widescreen. Hypnotic drones are the order of the day here, alongside rolling, desert sky grooves.

Rockin' Beats - Black Magic Woman (N'Pot Remix) [AH Digital]

The 126th release on Suffused Music finds the label showcasing new interpretations of Bruno Caro's 'Entre 2 Mundos' EP. Originally released in June of 2015, the 3 track offering showcased the Argentinean's pendant for melodic progressive which eventually led to an appearance on Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records. Now we see Suffused Music revisiting 'Entre 2 Mundos' with new interpretations from Kamilo Sanclemente, N'Pot and Untold Stories. 

The first interpretation on the release finds Kamilo Sanclemente reworking 'Entre 2 Mundos'. The Colombian producer has been hotly tipped of late with releases on Baroque Records, Einmusika and Perspectives Digital. His dreamy yet club friendly approach to production has worked wonders on 'Entre 2 Mundos', transforming it into a beefy dance floor rendition. Rolling slabs of bass anchor the mammoth groove while tribalistic drums and smooth hypnotic motifs push the momentum forward. Airy pads lead the piece into a stripped down section before the beats drop out and a mesmerizing theme steals the air. Kamilo shows resistant with a tasteful build, ultimately leading to a rumbling drop and elegant conclusion. Brilliant work from one of the undergrounds most underrated talents.

The second interpretation finds N'Pot overhauling 'Ansias' into a groovy hypnotic number. Nicolas Delfino aka N'Pot hails from Argentina and was part of the Monster Of Density trio, who had a nice run from 2011-2013 with releases on Dopamine Music, Movement Recordings and Sound Avenue. Since focusing on solo material Nicolas has reshaped his sound and kept the alias quite exclusive with just 5 releases in two years, including appearances on 238W, Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain. For his 'Ansias' interpretation Nicolas has crafted what is likely his most mature work to date with a driving groove and mesmerizing motifs leading the way. Bubbly bass tones make for some incredible bounce while vocal stabs pierce the air and trail off into a tripped out break. Swirling textures add an air of mystery while panning gates and a rush of white noise lead to a tasteful drop, revealing the undulating groove once more. Big remix from N'Pot.

The third and final interpretation on the EP welcomes Untold Stories back to the label for his second appearance. The Argentinean producer made his debut on the Lithuanian imprint with his 'Prologue EP' in February of 2015. The five track sound story introduced the underground to an artist with a wealth of studio experience and there has been an air of intrigue around the project ever since. Now just over a year later Untold Stories returns and reworks 'Arpegio Un Cinco' in his own inimitable style. With a markedly slowly tempo and chunkier groove, the Argentine takes straight aim at the dancefloor. As vibrant electronics pierce the air, tonal themes and panning effects tantalize the senses. The main break proves to the highlight with its hypnotic drawl and tactful build, ultimately leading to a stripped down drop and effects heavy third act. Unique and wonderful work from Untold Stories and a top notch remix EP from Suffused Music. Don't miss it.

Ukraine based Guk Kirill a.k.a. Following Light had released his production Anomaly last year and we bring you 2 marvelous remixes.

Nicolás Delfino aka N’Pot from Argentina creates a mind altering sublime remix of the original. The pure hypnotic and dreamy elements in his remix makes it a perfect aural treat.

Another remix by Argentinean producer Gonzalo Rodriguez adds a dimension to the original through his signature deeper sounds. The track brings in a loop laden vibe creating a serene vibe.

Following Light - Anomaly (N'Pot Remix) [Zephyr Music]

As a rising star with an impressive 2018, Mio & His Flute found himself integral to the Particles artist roster. Now returning to the label, the German producer presents "Ping Pong in Space".

With his Particles debut, "Barbecue on the Moon" debut, Mio & His Flute created a wonderful slice of progressive heaven. Now, the title track of his sophomore effort is full of the Freiburg artist's trademark attention to detail as elegantly crafted rhythms and freeform lead riff give a distinctive flavour of far off lands. Meandering across a near ten-minute journey, the track waxes and wanes, held together by a metronomic four/four beat and a raft of panned effects and club-friendly rhythms. "Brimborium" is characterised by a wonderful plucked earworm riff repeated in hypnotic fashion while a subtle percussive groove is the perfect backdrop. Final track, "Summa Summarum" continues the penchant for strong melodic lines as an intricate riff works in syncopated fashion with robust groove and middle-eastern timbres. Pausing for breath at the mid-point with rich pad tones, the third movement creates a mesmerising and original work.

Both successful artists in their own rights with music signed to Balkan Connection, Clinique and Superordinate, the Argentinean pair of N'Pot & Nahue Juarez hit the headlines with their 2016 "Selcouth" EP for Stellar Fountain, before "Endless Summer" showcased the duo's talents on Particles in April 2018. The four-track offering shone a spotlight on the duo's collaborative work together and it a pleasure to welcome them back to the label remixing Mio & His Flute. Taking "Ping Pong Space", N'Pot & Juarez have generated a clever remix that builds upon the elements in the original, turning them into a deep, club-friendly track. Adding a swathe of additional sounds and melody N'Pot & Juarez have retained the themes of Mio's work while creating an innovative new narrative.

Argentinean, Antrim, is no stranger to success in the underground dance scene with over 400 production credits found against the Cordoba resident's name for the likes of Balkan Connection Perspectives Digital and Clubsonica. Supported by a DJ elite that includes Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and Hernan Cattaneo, his debut on the "Summer Particles 2014" compilation with "Metheny", went on to see a release of its own with remixes from GMJ and Simos Tagias. January 2018's "Dizziness" was a further highlight as Antrim now returns with a glorious club-friendly remix of "Brimborium". Redolent in pulsating bassline emotion, Mio & His Flute's central melody soon comes to the fore anchoring the Antrim remix to the original. Building effortlessly, a sublime a new riff appears in the third movement along with sumptuous pads and a rolling clave percussion to create a strong and mature reworking.

A trio of new tracks alongside remixes from N'Pot & Nahue Juarez and Antrim have found Mio & His Flute champion of "Ping Pong in Space".
