'NORTHERN RAISED, LONDON BASED' CICELY IS A MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER FIRST, HAVING SHOT SOME OF THE UK UNDERGROUND'S BIGGEST NAMES, SUCH AS SKEPTA, BIG ZUU AND NOVELIST.
HER PHOTOS HAVE BEEN SEEN ON BILLBOARDS ACROSS LONDON, IN LOCATIONS SUCH AS LEICESTER SQUARE AND EUSTON.

SHE TOOK UP LEARNING TO DJ THROUGH LOCKDOWN, AND HAS SINCE PLAYED SETS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND IN LEGENDARY CLUBS SUCH AS FABRIC, CORSICA STUDIOS AND XOYO, AND HAS ALSO APPEARED ON PLATFORMS SUCH AS KEEP HUSH AND RINSE FM.

HER SETS ARE KNOWN FOR HARD HITTING BREAKS, OLD SCHOOL HARDCORE SOUNDS AND RAVE BANGERS.

IN 2022 SHE LAUNCHED NRG CRU, AND IS PASSIONATE ON USING IT TO SPOTLIGHT OTHER ARTISTS FROM UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY WHO ENCAPSULATE THE UNDERGROUND RAVE SOUNDS.

Over the last year, Psyfa has left her mark on the Newcastle rave scene and has recently begun her musical expansion into her hometown of Leeds.
Psyfa’s journey into the realm of dance music finds its origins in her passion for the communal spirit of raving. The shared sense of liberation and connection, created by raving, has fuelled her desire to curate her own musical experiences that encourage expression and freedom on the dance floor.  
 
This passion naturally translated into a love for high-energy selections. Psyfa’s sets are known for combining the sounds of footwork, jungle and hardcore – a combination that keeps the crowd moving.

Journey to planet Red is a mix that I made at a turning point in my life where not only my tastes in music were expanding but also was a period of personal growth coming from the breakdown of old aspects of my life giving place for new things to be created. This mix is one to listen to in silent darkness which is the way that it was made in to be listened to to lose yourself and go into a higher space. It is called Journey to planet Red due to my spiritual linearities going straight towards the red planet (Aries in mars).
