The theme of “Rekindle” is the love between two people being so powerful it can conquer anything. The beginning of the song is very beautiful, symbolizing the honeymoon phase in a relationship. As the build up begins the song intensifies to make the listener feel the emotions that one feels when a loved one is slowly dying. When the first drop hits you can feel the power and energy of love working to save a life. Soonly after the breakdown begins, you are transported to the perspective of your loved one who is currently dead, but is slowly coming back to life. The second drop hits with high energy, celebrating the fact that the love of your life has been Rekindled.
