A sad song from an old man on a laid back beat. A chill piano and 808 laden track combined with a smooth lyrical delivery that make this song a true crossover. The song is about purposely keeping distance from strangers and loved ones alike due to mental illness. Inability to connect is the overlying theme of the track.

Im an artist with Sickle Cell disease, so this song is close to my heart. This track is about being in pain but finding beauty in the suffering. Sickle cell is a blood disease passed on through parents who both have the sickle cell trait. It causes blood cells to be misshapen or sickle shaped, impeding blood flow and causing pain, eye and organ issues, etc.

In My Blood

A weed centric song regarding my daily marijuana intake and alluding to some of my smoking past. Weed is now legal recreationally where I live, so weed culture is big out here in Michigan. This is for the smokers.
