this originally started out as a wip from last year where i was trying to replicate the mid-2000s anjunabeats sound. i decided this compilation would be a good reason to try finish it up as i really liked where it was going (plus the main hook would still get stuck in my head a year later lol). decided to also go the modern route for the production instead this time, while still trying to preserve the oldschool flavour

My life has been a rollercoaster, I have so many health problems. These past 4 years had really taken a toll on me and I was in a really bad way and a bad situation. How I coped with what was going on in my life was music. I've always loved making music, experimenting with different types of sounds and even the piano. The piano is one of my favourite instruments to play ever since I was young. I've had a love of music ever since I was born and always wanted to follow this magical dream of mine. When I first started uploading my music I honestly never expected to get this much people loving the sounds I create. It's because of awesome fans, listeners like you ladies and gents that keeps my dream alive and I wanted to thank you all for keeping me going and supporting me through and through this crazy journey. 

Here is my words of wisdom, whatever you wanna be, whatever you wanna do when you dream of something and it's something you wanna do and follow then do it. What's stopping you? Always push yourself towards your dreams, never give up and keep fighting. The more you push yourselves the more you will succeed in life. No matter how hard or rocky the road ahead of you looks like, don't ever give up on your dreams. You got this.

Nthercyte is the name of the project and artist name created by Franko Štimac. Franko Štimac comes from Croatia, specifically from Osijek, his hometown. Franko's love for electronic music began in his childhood. He found the greatest inspiration for this project in EDM DJ and musician Porter Robinson, especially in his alias name Virtual Self. 

Under his artist name and project Nthercyte, Franko works in digital art inspired by the aesthetics of the Y2K era, with an emphasis on Digital Abstract that was popular during the 2000s. This style is experiencing a revival called Neo-Y2K aesthetic. 

In addition to visual art, Franko as Nthercyte, also works in music, versatilely orienting himself to different genres of electronic music, primarily such as Techno and Trance.
