Itako se promène main dans la main avec le spectre audible de la musique des quarante dernières années : 
Il accorde dans ses sets beaucoup de place aux tempos laissé pour compte, avec des préférences marquées pour la musique industrielle belge, la culture disco-edit, les oubliés de la trance et du downtempo des années 2000 ou encore la bass anglaise … Un juste (?) milieux entre musique super-compressé et son opposé.
Sur un autre versant il a produit plusieurs EP et à participé à différentes VA au cours des 3 dernières années.  Tendance acid, EBM, techno ou electro avec un stop à l’arrêt marqué, contrôle à droite et à gauche, cet été avec un album sur le label de Adam X : Sonic Groove.

Under the production moniker of Material Things, 12th Isle co-founder Stewart Brown unveils a part debut album part compendium of musical collaborations spanning from 2015-2020. Some recordings began as long, one-take improvisations (How's Life, Peckham) spliced together and revisited years later. Others were based upon chance opportunities to record with musicians operating a long way from the parameters of 12th Isle. Cult private-press loner folk guitarist Bob Theil, whose 1982 album So Far counts as one of the Scottish greats of the era, is at the heart of 'Westway'. Synth and guitar fragments recorded by the pair in Stewart's family home one summer form a low-key conclusion to the collection, whilst London based percussionist Pike Ogilvy brings an array of drum sounds and natural percussion to 'No Direction'. Regular 12th Isle affiliate Vague Imaginaires also features heavily, contributing synth work on Grenoble and his own extended digi bonus remix of 'How's Life'.
As a collection, the 8 tracks show a studious, concise vision and combine influences from minimalism, concrete and avant-garde jazz and techno yet also embrace friendship, experimentation and curiosity whilst capturing 5 years of the artists own personal life. Some of the tracks have been circulating in various versions for a number of years now, with DJ support from Bake, Ivan Smagghe, Optimo, Lena Willikens, Huntley & Palmers, Orpheu The Wizard and, of course, 12th Isle.

Fresh from her debut album 15 𝘉𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘬𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘵, released on Clone - Dub Recordings, Alberta is a sonic world builder whose approach to music is both deeply technical and imaginatively rich. Renowned for her hardware-based performances and potent DJ sets, she's driven by a love for sci-fi and 1990s records – think dreamy IDM, broken beats, sizzling acid and sawtooth electro.

Crossfade Sounds welcomes Belgian producer Dream Cycle Inc. for his label debut with the It Feels Like Healing EP. The project is the creative outlet of Jan, an artist whose formative years were shaped by the adventurous spirit of the 90s, when labels such as Planet Dog and acts like Eat Static, Banco De Gaia, and Future Loop Foundation fused trance, dub, ambient, and drum & bass into forward-thinking hybrids. These early influences, together with the psychedelic voyages of compilations like Feed Your Head and Dubnology, continue to resonate in Dream Cycle Inc.'s work, where echoes of techno-infused dub and liquid drum & bass find their way into deep, meditative frameworks.

The EP features two original compositions from Dream Cycle Inc., each reflecting his passion for bridging atmospheres with rhythm and narrative. Adding depth to the release, Belgian artist ZeroA returns to the label with two reworks that leans into his own textured aesthetic, while Romanian producer Silishteanu delivers an alternate interpretation, both remixers being well-regarded names within the Crossfade Sounds catalogue.
