We want to give our event a new voice in form of a podcast series, which is supposed to introduce every upcoming event as a promotion for the artist and also to bridge the gap until the next Entropie event. Our mission with this is to enthuse people for Techno, let them feel the emotional power of this music genre.

Entropie Event #15 - Electric Rescue

On the fifteens edition of the Entropie Events, we recorded the set of the French techno legend Electric Rescue. In the game for 25 years already, he early was considered one of the France based masters of electronic music and is, therefore, a worldwide renowned artist. His productions have been signed to labels like Affin, Arts, F Communications and Sleaze Records. He was given the opportunity to play in mythic venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, The Edge (Sao Paulo), Air Club (Tokyo) and even well-referenced Festivals like Amsterdam Dance Event, 3rd Empire (Israel), Piknic Electronik (Canada). His artistic effervescence is also displayed by the great management he shows on his very own label Skryptöm Records. Established in 2006, artists like Antigone, Truncate, Slam, Johannes Heil and Xhin, amongst others, have released on it. In 2019 his own new album “ Esquisse“ will arrive, presenting a large panel of what he loves the most.

Entropie Podcast #08 - MZR

The Berlin-based artist MZR/// starts his career in 2008 under various and unknown aliases. MZR/// was originally intended as a label project and later became the main DJ and producer's name. Until the tragic death of Mike Wall, he has been a core member of the Wall Music crew, produced among others with the project Andiamo and hosted the RAH event in the Grießmühle Berlin. As a resident and co-organizer, he has been an integral part of the WALLS Events series. In 2018 he founded together with KETCH his new main vinyl label: SYXT. This new imprint focuses on well-known artists as well as emerging artists, the music is the deciding factor.

Entropie Podcast #09 - Waynette

Waynette is a Berlin DJ and producer with carribean roots. With an age of ten the half Jamaican,  half Barbadian found her love to electronic music. The artist was most influenced by hardcore/gabba, dnb, goa and psytrance parties in her late youth which is very remarkable in the sound she plays. As a producer she fills a wide range of different styles from ambient over house, techhouse and especially experimental techpop which she presented on her first release on Supply Records.

Vegim's journey into the underground techno began in the early 1990's. The year, that Vegim became a full time slave to the underground scene was 1998. Today, he is recognized as one of Techno's most influential artists. Not only a skilled
DJ/Producer but also a graphics designer and coneptionalist that has a style unlike any other. He has released his own tracks and done countless remixes for many of the best known labels in

Right in time, to announce the seventeenth edition of the Entropie events, Léa Occhi recorded an mix for our Podcast Serie. She is gonna be one part of a massive Line up on the sixth of December at Suicide Circus. Along her side performing   Raffaele Attanasio and Swarm Intelligence good as well . She is a French Techno DJ based in Berlin, co-founder and resident of the Spectrum in Paris. Inspired by the Berliner culture and the LGBT community, Léa definitely know how to make the people dance. Her music always oscillates between rhythmic techno and deep bass lines.

Eastel is a DJ and producer living between Paris and Seoul.
Her take on Techno is industrial, energetic, fast, heavy and dark.With a remix for Paula Temple on Noise Manifesto, and releases to come on various labels later this year, Eastel is setting herself to become a stronghold name. She also has two side project: Arius ( a project w/ French artist Paul Mørk) where cinematic, dark melodic elements and uncompromising techno sounds combine; and NvrsEastel (a project with Californian artists NVRS) playing with destructured sonorities, distorted drums, drone and post-industrial elements, noisy sounds and Eastel’s vocals.

RÄV(Nacht / Sinn / Insectum rec, IT)

Born in Italy starts his career playing electronic music like drum n bass and electronic…..over the years is introduced more and more in the techno scene, appreciating all its facets.

His first working experience as a resident dj was in the AREA project; inside his 3 years of work within it he shared party with Benjamin Damage, Janina, James Mile, Bas Ibellini, Salvo Castelli, Beat Movement & many others.

After this experience , for a wish to express himself better, he starts to work with NACHT, a party that has been very successful in the techno scene of the area. In short, he collaborates with HYPER, BlackCode and outside his country in UK, Germany, Bulgaria, Austria, Nederland, Spain, France and more. Now he play as a resident artist for NACHT (Italy) and SINN (Spain).

He recently played in lineup with artists like Speedy J, Bas Mooy, Rebekah, Marcel Fengler, AnD, Jonas Kopp, Bastinov, Oscar Mulero, Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Mtd, Raffaele Attanasio, Paula Temple, Pig & Dan, Jackrock, Florian Meindl, 2000 and One, Kessel & more.

Biography
A young man, faceless in the pallid light, entirely
gripped by these machines, source of this brutal
black noise. Dark, thundering bass drums,
distorted soundscapes and grooves start to
emerge. He lives for the machines. The machines
live for him. This is Subjected, an amalgam of
darkness, distortion and aggression.

Anonymity as a function, mystical without usual
clichés. No hiding behind masks, no digging in the
past, no techno purism, no strive for fame -
SUBJECTED stands for distinctly deep, identifiable
techno. Designed in the shadows, to be
consumed in the darkness. A label. Music, and
nothing more.

Born in Hoyerswerda in 1983, and brought up in
the tristesse of Berlin-Hellersdorf, he was strongly
socialised by the lower class suburb with its grey,
oppressive tower blocks. The first musical
attempts he made were in Hip hop and rap, but it
wasn't long until he started to be aware of all the
progress happening in Berlin in the mid 90's, and
got infected by the early club nights in legendary
E-werk and Tresor as well as mixtapes from local
radio stations. All of this shaped him towards his
own musical reinvention. Techno as a possibility
of identification, allowed him to find himself. It's
the monotony, the uniqueness of the synthetic
sound, that enabled Subjected to express himself
– starting as a DJ, since 2006 also acting as a
producer. This resulted in various projects and the
launch of Vault Series in 2010. Ever since their
first major successes, Vault Series are a
guarantee for dancefloor-oriented tracks, with
highly distinctive concepts and structures of
sound.

For the seventeenth edition of the Entropie events, Echoshape was performing the opener. Here is the record of it.
He is born and raised in Berlin,  discovering electronic music since the late 90's and is developing his sound behind the decks since the early 00's. His dedication for dark, trippy, hypnotical techno is unmistakably hearable in each of his sets. He's "Entropie"-Resident and strongly associated with the Potsdam based "Einstürzende Altbauten"-Collective.

Entropie Event #18 Ambient *Live - Vibko & Luca Pintus

Throwback to the 18.th edition.
In February 2020, Vibko & Luca Pintus performed a lovely Ambient show.

VIBKO

Is an electronic musician specializing in playing and improvising on hardware instruments. Elektron boxes, a Half Size Haken Continuum and many more wonderful and strange machines go into making the music. His recordings, mostly stems from sessions of improvisation and live looping.

His visionary and experimental capacities allow him to abandon traditional methods of musical composition, moving increasingly towards researching the fundamental concepts of sound waves, thus allowing the public to increase the aural perception under different perspectives, stimulating curiosity and inspiration by favoring the art of listening rather than hearing.
