This is a piece written in movements I made for a 1 act play. The play is about 2 lovers, Anne and Liam. The two meet in a choice encounter and a love that binds them together that will never let them go no matter what. They're hearts flourish in love, but it all is halted when Liam is drafted to war. Liam keeps Anne hopeful of his return, although he is uncertain. Anne is all alone, with only herself to console the feelings of abandonment and worry. She finds peace in the thought that Liam will come home. When He comes back, Liam is not the boy she fell in love with. Liam is scarred with hatred and regret, and has lost the feeling of love. He tries to force the emotion, but it collapses. Anne tries to come to his side and hold him, but then Liam's war-torn emotions backfire and he physically hurts Anne. She finds herself scared and fearful of what Liam could do to her, so she tries to stay away from him. The abuse worsens, until Liam realizes the monster he had become. He is so ashamed he tells Anne to leave, and never be near him again, because he does not want to hurt her ever again. Liam is then faced with his own tendencies of suicide, to rid his world of the person he had become. He fights the thoughts, urging to be resolute in the absence of the person he was. Yet his gives in, and attempts the unchangable. Anne finds him in the act, She comes to his side and comforts him. They find the love that they once had again. And it is stronger than ever.

Chronicle of the Heart

Last night I heard an 8-bit version of the Gravity Falls theme, written in famitracker, and I decided to do my own take on it. Threw this together in about half an hour.
