On the other hand, the songwriting ability displayed on the single ‘Faithless', featuring Bianca, has plastered them all over the radio. That's just the tip of a very large iceberg. DC Breaks have earned their stripes in the underground but, with an album due in the Autumn and a packed festival season ahead, they're about to explode onto the international stage in a spectacular fashion.

Prepare yourselves for a high performance, sonic onslaught as we introduce the most breathtaking drum & bass outfit to have emerged from Austria in recent years, Fourward. Influenced heavily by the likes of Bad Company, Noisia and Ed Rush & Optical, the collective formed back in 2007, bringing together a myriad of styles into one slick package to take the scene by storm with huge releases on a host of prestigious labels including Virus, Vision, Audioporn and most recently SGN:LTD. Their breakthrough release came in 2009 on DJ Trace’s legendary DSCI4 label while their collaboration with Body & Soul on Ed Rush & Optical’s Virus Recordings took their profile to the next level with support from all corners of the globe. Since then Ludwig, Lukas, Dominik and Nik have travelled the globe as their renowned DJ sets continue to set dance floors alight with their own trademark take on drum & bass. With the recent success of their hit remix of the Upbeat’s ‘Alone’ on Noisia’s Vision Recordings and 2013’s 'Aftermath' EP on AudioPorn Records perking up the ears of a certain Friction on BBC Radio 1, it wasn’t long after that the call was made; the year culminated in their signing exclusively with Shogun Audio. The Austrian Festival Culture was born about 40 years ago in Wiesen, an event venue situated in the state of Burgenland. In 2016, right on time for its 40th anniversary, this most beautiful outdoor venue moves once again into the focus of the music industry.
Because 2016 will also be the birth year of an entirely new (festival) format: NU FORMS FESTVAL.
And the team behind this new born baby is no stranger. Mastermind Christian Lakatos and his former Urban Art Forms Crew are responsible for what is already referred to as a family get-together of the international Drum N‘ Bass Scene and Bass Music Culture.

NU FORMS is not simply about the consumption of music. It is conceived as an event to sharpen the senses for all layers of this musical subculture.
Festival visitors will be able to take part in competitions and workshops and thus become actors and participants. From the Scene for the Scene!
Also in terms of Visual Art a new experience is to be expected. Responsible for the realization of this new visual art experience is the crew of 4youreye, which has been been part of the family for over a decade and which is considered an international authority in the field.

Contrary to other endeavors (developments), NU FORMS FESTIVAL will consciously remain an intimate gathering. So tickets will be limited. The feel-good factor of our visitors and artists is our main priority.
