A collection of work in progress things i've made during 2016-2022. At this point, i don't think i'll ever finish any of them, and due to the recent events i think that i should release this in public while i still can. 

It's uncertain when it will happen, but our country is going to be pretty much cut off from the rest of the world by our own government. All things point to that exact scenario, and i'm not an optimist.

I provided links to the archives with original modules and an archive with audio files of each part. The module archive also contains modules that are not present in the audio i've uploaded, and some modules also have frames that are not present in the audio upload either.

I actually wrote only 50% of this song. First 38 seconds were made entirely by Eli K. Then I joined and wrote some parts after that, and changed some stuff that he has added to the song. I also made the stereo version by exporting .wav files from famitracker and editing them in FL Studio.

I came up with some ideas for this song back in 2016, even wrote a few parts back then. But i couldn't write anything good and had no idea how to write actual songs instead of short things that i would immediately abandon, so it just kept rotting on my pc for 9 years.

However, now i am able to write actual songs, so i came back and resurrected this song from the dead. I rewrote it from scratch, gave my old ideas a facelift, and wrote new parts.

I wrote this song in 10 days recently, though i came up with the chorus back in 2023. I'm using DPCM this time for drums which is much better than triangle, perhaps that's what i will do from now on.

I came up with this song almost a year ago, and since then kept in my head, humming it periodically, but never got to make myself actually start writing it, until famicompo. 

That's my second time participating since FCP10, when i've first started learning famitracker, with difference being, that this time i did it fully on my own. Now i guess i'm confident enough to start making even more full blown tracks in the near future.

Well, here goes my first (finished) multichip track. I was supposed to upload it a few hours later, but i just can't wait anymore, i think i've done enough already.

So, about this track. I've started it even before my famicompo entry, around march-april. I did the intro part, a few frames, and then, famicompo was announced. I've came to the conclusion that it'll be too much for me, so i dropped it, and instead made my famicompo entry completely from scratch - turns out it was the right decision.

Afterwards i haven't touched famitracker at all until December, and then started writing this track again. I've still had the general idea of what i want it to be, so in about 4 months i wrote the rest of it, and now it's finished. I've had to force myself near the end, but at least i tried to be consistent.

Unlike my famicompo entry, this song has a completely different mood. I've imagined it as the real song with vocals, so it's reflected in the way i've done it. 

It's clearly not the best of my ideas, but i tried what i could, and i hope you can enjoy it for what it is :P

Also, i'm going to make an alt channel soon, i will upload old or unfinished things/loops in here, so stay tuned!

Well, here's the long story:

I wrote the first half of this song back in january, and that was what ended up on the famicompo pico 4. Then, after procrastinating for about a month, because i wasn't sure what else i could do to this song, i wrote everything after the 2:30 mark in the past 7 days.

I had time to work on this song, because i've got a cold, and i'm still sick, so i just want to end this already. Sorry about the ending, i just want to be done with it for now, maybe if i release a kind of compilation album in the future, i will do something else to it, but for now it is done.

Now about the song itself. I would say that this is my best work so far, combining my old dnb style and newer melody-driven "rock/metal" thing that i've been into recently. 

Also, it's HEAVILY inspired by the DM DOKURO stuff - the main part even sounds way too close to a particular song of his and it wasn't intentional. I felt that i've heard something similar, but i only found out which song it was after i listened to his last album.

I came up with the main melody in the past year. It was a 30 seconds loop which i've abandoned, only to pick it up in January to participate in fcp4 and make it into a dnb showoff in about a month.

And one last thing. I guess i will get personal, but i will say it anyway. If not for the DM DOKURO and his works, this song wouldn't exist, at least not in the way it is turned out to be.

So yeah, dude, if you're reading this, i want you to know - you're really good at what you're doing. I still have some of your songs stuck in my head, and i enjoy it :P

The beginning of that song perfectly summarizes how i felt the whole week up until march 26th. That day was also my birthday - though i wasn't feeling well, and was alone at home.

Something happened at least a week ago before that day, and i was very anxious because of that.

Even though my worries were gone after that week, and i should have felt relieved, i still felt pretty empty that day.

Not until i saw a message on soundcloud, asking me for a collaboration.

That's how this song came to be. I was pretty proud of the beginning section, and then H-Mister wrote so many good parts, and i started to see where i could take this song. I'd say the input from both of us in that song is 50/50, though i had to make sure that it would be as polished, as it could be :)

After listening to the stereo panned version made by DM DOKURO, I've though about trying to do something like this as well, so here it is.

I've made this by exporting every channel from famitracker module as .wav, and then doing some post-processing stuff in FL Studio - applying stereo imager, reverb, panning, eq, etc.

I was very pleasantly surprised with how much positive reception this song has gotten, and i really hope that you will enjoy this version even more.
