"someone stole my hard drive on Halloween. I was crushed. some of these songs are from that stolen hard drive. these are very personal songs on there that I had made in my bedroom the midst of some rough times. at one point in my career earlier this year I was caught up in the accolades or what peoples opinions or perspective of me was to the point it started to reflect in the music. I wasnt making music from my purest of heart but was making music to appease others and chasing whatever people’s deemed as a hit. granted a lot of those songs never came out in the midst of that I had a awakening moment that made me realize that I was going down the wrong direction. In order to get back to myself, I made these songs you’ll hear. In these songs I’m getting back to that lil boy who use to record in his room without judgement or expectations, recording just for the freedom of my thoughts, and expression..as if nobody is listening."
