In my basement, I have an original Korg Monopoly synthesizer which I bought in 1984, although it no longer functions, sadly. Here, it's the VST version from Korg which is easier to use in many ways (although I miss the knobs ;-) but the sounds are the same and the effects are great, so I had some fun.

This piece was produced with the help of the rather fascinating Nodal generative music software. Check it out :-)

I'm a Brit, but I've lived and played in a town on the eastern edge of Paris for more than thirty years.

I use Cubase and a frightening array of software synthesizers (mainly Korg and Arturia remakes). I am a rather poor keyboard player, particularly now that arthritis is starting to affect my hands, so I am a firm believer in using software to correct it ;-). 

I used to use a Roland E70, Kawai K4 and Kawai K1, all from the late 80s or early 90s to produce Generative Music, sometimes with the help of a fantastic software tool called Noatikl. Much of the older music here was made with it.

I also play synth bass in a clandestine 'Canterbury Music" covers band , doing mainly stuff by Hatfield and The North, Soft Machine, Caravan, National Health and Matching Mole, with a sprinkling of King Crimson thrown in.

Other influences include Gong, XTC, Forgas Band Phenomena and a special mention for Ghost Rhythms, as well as others too numerous to mention... Thanks to them all.

I am also proud to be an amateur musician. I only do it for the music ;-)
