He is simply Nu, an entity; a vessel expressing sentiments of love, acceptance and perseverance. As an emcee, he balances thought-provoking lyrics with a soulful tone, thus avoiding a "preachy" or aggressive style. Nu displays the wisdom of an old soul with a child-like wonder, bringing a calming excitement whether on stage or in the studio.

Known by a few names over the years, from Champ Nasa to Nubn. Nu holds experience as one half of the SF-based duo, Products of Brotherhood, along with DJ Hi/Lo. Soon, the two would go on to collaborate with artists, Kaly-Jay, Morris Done, Xiomara and A.D., to form The Peoples Tree, receiving critical acclaim in the Bay Area. As a solo artist, Nu has collaborated with producers from Hawaii to Virginia, proving an ability to mix and blend with a diverse array of styles and rhythms.
