Ampeço marks the beginning of Nubrada's journey into world and downtempo music. For our first release, we mixed a lot of different influences, from the Middle East to Africa, deep house, and downtempo electronica. In the Mirandese language, "ampeço" means beginning, so we felt this was the right track to start the dance!

Filos de belheç is inspired by Fracisco Niebro's book "Belheç". The track features the voice of Paulo Meirinhos reading a passage of the book, blending perfectly with jazzy piano chords. This piece talks about growing older, the world around us and our perception of it.

Nubrada is the eletronic, tribal and ethnic portuguese music project by João Bandarra and Pedro Artur.
Their influences are mostly focused on the music and traditions from the northeast of Portugal, with original poems spoken and sang in the Mirandese language, but also explore african and south american sounds.
Without boundaries set, their work aims to make people dance and have fun with a unique mix of unexplored elements.
